$94 4-day cruise
I got a call this afternoon from 480.718.8074. It didn't look like 800 number to me so i answered and this Harry (or it could have Larry) said that i won a 4-day cruise with 4 gateways to choose from Louisiana, Nevada, Port Canaveral and another one from Florida. He said there are no timeshare presentations, just $94 tax fees, and "that's all there is to it." I was very skeptical and i asked, "What is the catch?" He repeated just $94 believe it or not. I have 4 1/2 years to use it. I almost blurted out this sounds too good to be true, so i asked again"how can these companies afford to offer such cruises?" Slick Harry said "well, when you are on a cruise, you practically can't go anywhere. If you like to gamble, or if you like to drink, drinks are not very cheap, you will have to buy them. That's how they make their money." I was so impressed! Can you believe it, I finally won something! But wait a sec, i asked him just one more question, "do you have a website i can visit to check your itineraries once i make my mind up about specific dates?" "Sure, do you have access to a computer right now?" So i ran downstairs to my Mac and started a new window and asked him "okay what is the website?" I asked the question one more time, thinking he didn't hear me. But Harry hung up on me! So, i got curiouser and curiouser, i typed on my search bar the oxymoron- free cruise for just $94. And boy! was i glad i did. The first page i opened was this travel service complaints about $93 cruises. People buy them and never got their money back, or they're still waiting for their travel packets after several months, and some whistle-blowing from an old employee. If this is a real scam, and i'm pretty sure it is, what is anybody -federal or state agency doing about it? They're still calling, and they're getting really got it. Slick Harry almost had me!

Sold me a cruise for $93 then made me buy my own airfare to get to the ship
I had originally bought this cruise from Travel Services for $93 per person and thought it was all-inclusive. Travel Services didn't pay for my flight; i ended up having to buy my own airfare to get down to the port. i just think if you win something then they should pay for you to get there too. Travel Services does not pay for your flight. The best that they said they could do is give me some price-match guarantee, but i can't even afford a flight, so i cannot even go.
I just think if Travel Services says you win something than you should win the airlines tickets to fly.
