Cancellation flight!
I ordered flight ticket from Travelocity to Cairo (it was before Egypt protest happen), and recently I called them to ask about cancel my flight since Egypt in such a bad situation, but they told me besides the airline cancel the flight, if I want to cancel I have to pay $280++ the cancellation fee & penalty . I called directly to airline, the airline willing to cancel without any penalty, but airline told us they can't do anything because travelocity hold my flight ticket. Travelocity just want to make money, they don't care peoples safety. Now besides I pay $280 ++ penalty or go to Cairo EGYPT..

Horrible Service
I booked 2 round trip tickets in July for my honeymoon in January. There was a snowstorm that came through the night before our flight. Due to snow, the airport in Memphis canelled all their flights. We attempted to contact Travelocity to switch to a different flight so we could make our cruise. Customer Service told us to contact the airline, and gave us a number. The number they gave us was only for the hours of 8am to 5pm. Our flight was supposed to be at 630am. We had purchased travel insurance through Travelocity, so we called them back to use it. Customer Service again gave us a different number to call. When we called it, we were told that the travel insurance we purchased doesn't help with something like this, so we couldn't use it. We ended up having to by 2 one-way tickets that were as expensive as our round-trip tickets and never got reimbursed for the flight that was cancelled. Attempts to contact the company in regards to this have lead no where. DO NOT USE TRAVELOCITY. Despite their commercial which assure you they have 'hassle free' travel plans, it is not true.

Trip booked on wrong date
To whom it may concern: February 3, 2011 I surfed the web for Mardi Gras New Orleans and package deals came up for hotels. The only thing you see is the stars no information on the hotel name itself . You received the information after you put your personal information and credit card information. I know I entered the dates March 7th and 8th also staying one night on the 7th and checking out on the 8th. I called to see if I could get additional rooms and come to find out I found that the room I reserved for March 7th and 8th were reserved for February7th and 8th. Please refund my money. ID # 510348706549 Gailya Scott 337-351-3493 this would have been my family and I first Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

Price Guarantee
Travelocity did not honor my price guaranteed refund of $285.70, nor did they take the time to communicate this dishonor to me for over three months. I found lower prices for my departure/return flights in October, took and sent screen shots of the lower tickets found for my exact same flights, airlines and flight times, and invoked the price guarantee as advertised on Travelocity's website. I received two auto-generated responses via email to my price guarantee invocation requests, encouraging and informing me to look for my refund 30 days after my completed flights. Great, my wife and I thought. We'd been recommending Travelocity to all of our friends ever since. However, yesterday, I wrote to request a follow-up from the company because I'd heard nothing from Travelocity since the auto-generated responses sent in October, but I only received another generic response, this time from a Sandy T, stating that I was supposed to submit a claim within 24 hours of my having booked the flight for the price guarantee to take effect. How is this a price guarantee? Where was this supposed information when I first invoked my claim? We will certainly stop making recommendations for Travelocity now, and will be sure to spread the word about Travelocity's misleading advertisement, and the obvious injustice done us here.
I filed a claim against Travelocity today at the Better Business Bureau to request justice, a company apology, and a refund of $285.70 for satisfaction.

Spamming my cell phone!
Today I received a "spam" phone call from Travelocity, promoting their email to me about a sale! Really? I am on the Do Not Call list and they just violated it.
I called to tell them to take me off the list and got a person who barely spoke english telling me that I would have to email the complaint department, there is no phone there.
I will never use them for travel again. It will be worth a few dollars to not use them! This company obviously has no regard for my time or money by wasting cell phone minutes.

canceled ticket
I booked a ticket through Travelocity's website on Friday. I received an email confirming my reservation. Then I received an email the next day stating "the revenue protection department" needs to verify more information. Which by the way, the email looked like a Nigerian email scam and didn't look like it was an official email from Travelocity in any way. No one from that department ever called to verify this information with me at the numbers I provided, instead they somehow called my family (which I was surprising by flying over for Christmas) and questioned them about my flight. I have no idea how they got their phone number and why I was not called at the numbers I provided. I then received another email a few hours later that my reservation was canceled. So now flying over to "surprise" my family is ruined all for nothing since I don't even have a ticket anymore. I've booked countless airline tickets through various websites and have never encountered this. After reading that this same situation has happened to a lot of other people I regret ever using this website and will never make that mistake again.

Waiting for Refund - Mumbai
I booked an air ticket for my daughter to travel to United States.
Travelocity Trip ID is 103130541 for journey on 02-November-2010
Airline booking number: EZXJUO
Due to the fact my daughter was not aware that after staying in India over 6 months, she would need an exit pass to leave the country. The airport cancelled her tickets in Mumbai.
I had to send her more money to get a flight back to Bangalore to be issued an exit pass. I called the American Embassy which explains to me that I needed to call Travelocity and explain what happen.
I called Travelocity and was advised that they tried to call Mumbai Airport to find out why the cancellation happened. They called back in 20 minutes to explain that they would be issuing a request in writing to the airport. This would take 7-10 days and then they can issue me a refund.
I called again and received the same answers but with a nicer tone. I have made three calls to Travelocity, it is now over a month and I have not heard from Travelocity. I am a reasonable person but enough is enough. My daughter has missed a major holiday in USA because of this mishap.
I want my refund because I need to bring my daughter home.

Bad ad gnome

Roaming Gnome
The Roaming Gnome commercial is a turn-off! I am a business professional engaged in private sector security and investigations. This type commercial attempts to send a message to viewers as the Gnom recieves a massage while reclining in a bubblebath with cucumber on the eyes. The background reflects a female playing a harp. This commercial does NOT encourage me to relax in one of the rooms at the hotel. It makes me want to scream as I question Travelocity's hiring standards in marketing. Silly. Waste of viewers time. Not informative!
This commercial encourages me to change the channel immediately and to NEVER use the company's product.
In my opinion, this type commercial is a waste of advertising funds and a loss of potential customers.
In closing. The only things this commercial promotes is loss.

Yvette Miller

Poor customer service
CUSTOMER SERVICE -
*Other then the fact they've out sourced their call center to a foreign country, the operators who answer are very rude and often find humor in using different voice modifications to use on the customer.
*I was given completely incorrect information; when trying to confirm the info I was given - the Travelocity agent denied even speaking with me!
*When trying to change the date of my flight ticket, instead of being assisted, I was urged to buy a whole new ticket. After about 2 weeks of calling and multiple agents (all of which said they would contact me back and never did) and multiple ticket change price quotes (from $400 change fee to $150 to $50 to finally $30) I was able to alter my flight dates.
It seems the goal of Travelocity is only to make money no matter the consequence to the customer. I will NOT use Travelocity in the future. I will pass on this experience to everyone I come in contact with to prevent them from having to go through the same situation.
I do not make complaints unless treated extremely poorly! Dealing with Travelocity was a horrible experience!

Dirty Hotel, No Refund
I booked a hotel in Miami for my daughter and her friends based on Travelocity's two star rating and the pictures provided. When they arrived the hotel was so dirty that it was unliveable and they checked out immediately and went to another hotel.
Travelocity was contacted immediately and they would not provide a full refund. I contacted customer service again and they said they would talk to the hotel manager to ask for a full refund. They did not contact me with results as promised. I called again and spent 50 minutes getting the same promise that they will talk to the hotel manager and call me. There is no one at Travelocity that solves problems and the customer service supervisor that I talked to could not procide customer service and knew of no one in the company that could help me.
They mislead us on the hotel quality and will not provide a full refund.
