1) there is no phone number to call these people. Evidently, they just suckered me into a payment late last week. I am already a member of 2 other subscriptions. I'm trying to pay them off to not have any magazines at all. I can't believe that they did this. Evidently, that they have done this to alot of people before me. I want to see if I can get out of this now. Maybe a quick response from me will do something. That is $30 I don't have to just burn away. Where can I find a number for them? I had just called them to cancel my order and they said it is to later and that i can't cancel the order.

I received a call today from someone claiming to verify my magazine subscription, which I had supposedly been receiving for several months to an address at which I have not lived for almost a year. When they asked to verify my credit card account number, I did not recognize the last four digits listed. When asked by them for a current card I told them I did not recall ever ordering any magazines, or receiving such as a gift from any family members and would not give them a current card number. They claim that the bill of $39.95 has been paid monthly as an automatic deduction from my card, but I do not have or own a credit card. I then asked what I needed to do to cancel this subscription, as I'd not received any magazines via mail/subscription, and was told that I had to do that within the first 2 weeks and was well past that deadline, so could not cancel the subscription. I make a practice out of not ordering magazines or other unnecessary bills and when I tried to get more information, was told they would continue the account as is and disconnected.

I am in the military and after my third tour of duty I got a call from this blocked number that was so sweet that told me that they were the people who take care of my magazines. After a lot of sweet talk, they said that that they needed for me to confirm that I was getting my magazines on time. So I thought there was no danger. How wrong I was. Now I have this and another magazine subsprition company debiting my account. But I never agreed to be enrolled in their magazine program or ever gave them my account information. Wrong and illegal.
