I initially subscribed a number of magazine from this company. They have called on a number of occasions with the ruse of decreasing the monthly payment which I have agreed to - who doesn't like to save money. Well, it seems as though whenever you make a change they start over the time to the end of subscription because it has been over two years and they continue to say that my payments will continue for 18 months. Not only that they have increased the payment back to the original amount and added two more monthly payments. I am now having THREE SEPARATE PAYMENTS being taken from my accounts monthly. I have received additional agreements in the mail saying that I have agreed to another contract and I have sent them back cancelled within the required time limit. I have tried to speak with the representatives on the phone and it is a difficult task to get someone to speak to when I call. I continue to have these payments deducted from my account. Recently, I saw two more deductions from my credit card to this company. Being a mother of 4 and a full time worker with lots of responsibilities, I do not even have the time to read magazines. I have tried complaining to the Better Business Bureau but have not received a satisfactory answer. Someone needs to stop these people from fleecing innocent consumers like me.

Treasure Coast Readers were calling me and telling me that I had to pay a fee or else it will go to collections. I paid the fees and they sent me a letter which was a cancellation letter. I signed the letter and mailed it out. After a couple of weeks I get a phone call from a female representative who told me that they did not received the cancellation form and I was told that I could not cancel my contract any more (Total BS!!!). She also advised me that the publishers were expecting that money and there was nothing else they can do. She said that if I don't pay, then that will go to collection. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are in the same situation as me. Hopefully some attorney out there stops this company from ripping off everyone...
