After less than 2 years the leather surface on the back of the sofa has begun to peel. We are out of warranty according to the agreements we signed, but this seems to be out of the ordinary as leather should not peel. We have contacted J C Penny who advised us that the item is out of warranty and we did not sign up for an extended warranty. We were advised to contact one of their contractors who might be able to fix the peeling. After contacting the contractor we were advised to see if we could purchase a new back for this section of the sofa as this would solve the problem. Fixes to leather surfaces are at best a hit and miss. Could you assist us in solving this problem. The sofa has a serial #2093169684 and was purchased through J C Penny and delivered on 08-25-09.
