I toured some schools in Chicago hoping to find an amazing school. And this certainly was not it. Many of the schools I visited made me feel as if they wanted me and made me feel very comfortable. Not Tricoci. They made it sound like I was the LUCKY one if they picked me to go to their school. At the beginning of the tour, we walked upstairs through the student break room (which was completely crowded) into a tiny room. There we talked about tuition, supplies, and etc. The guy conducting the tour picked favorites right away. He was more friendly to some lady with a LV handbag than me. Sorry I don't have a designer purse to catch your attention. Then we toured the actual school and NONE of the students looked happy or smiled. The complete opposite of a Paul Mitchell school I visited where everyone was friendly and smiling. The school did seem very nice and upscale but if these people aren't happy then would I be? Then he sent each of us in to do an assessment. It was the stupidest thing I have ever done! In addition to the usually math questions and such, it had fashion questions! Which I pretty much failed because I didn't answer the way Tricoci wanted me too. Then the guide came in and asked me some personal questions about where I lived and etc. I felt like the guy wasn't really listening when he asked me personal questions. I repeated myself a few times because he wasn't listening. And lastly it was terrible trying to find parking. All the streets near the school said permit parking only and the building didn't seem it have any parking besides a few spots in the back of the school for students. One positive is you can earn points for prizes. You could get some new brushes or an ipod. This was just not the school for me.
