My husband and I just found out that our loan applications say we had a face-to-face interview by a solicitor that lives in another state and is unlicensed!

A "friend" of mine recommended this company and the only person that seems to be helping us is in California. We can't get a current gfe and we signed a lock rate sheet almost two weeks ago and no word on it yet. We are on our third extension since they first tried to get our VA loan from a company that doesn 't fund VA loans. We don't have a closing date or a final walk through date though the sellers "signed" last week. We have done everything and submitted our loan application March 5th and then she had us do it again March 27. Our preapproval letter has the name of this person we have never met. The appraisal is screwed up and we are not assured of our fees and rate. The whole situation is frightful.

The broker licensed for the company in our state resides in another state and I can't even find him! We have been treated so rudely just for asking questions about our loan. Steer clear of this firm-RUN! There seems to be no scruples as we are forced to contact consumer affairs and an attorney to close on our home.
