Late On 9/3/2009 or early 9/4 am I called tripres.com at 8002550372 and talked to Maggie at ext 5602. I booked travel for my wife and I from Tampa to Las Vegas 9/12 - 9/15, with hotel stay at the Luxor included. Flights were for departure at 6:10am and Return on the 7:05 pm both on Northwest airlines

I also had a $75 coupon which was applied. The total after coupon and including tax was $781.85

I was told that this would be a non-refundable transaction and I agreed. I was told that I would receive my itinerary by email in the am.

On 9/4 am at around noon, I still did not see the intinary, I called and someone told me that department was not quite in yet. (their in Vegas, I'm in FL) but they would be sending it some time soon. I went on to work and came home around 7pm my time, found an email from Rosemary Rice that stated the following .
"Please contact me regarding your airfare, it has not been confirmed as of yet it is higher than quoted. I would need you to contact me as soon as you can all airfare is not confirmed until ticketed and price are subject to change due to availability.
Please call Rosemary at 800 255-0372 ext 5278 in the air department"

I called Rosemary and she told me the airfare had went up approx $225.00. I told her I was never told this was even a possibility...I committed last night and I was under the impression they had also committed..WHY would I commit if they had not..I could have booked the airfare my self right then. I want them to honor the deal they made..this is bait and switch..offering a great deal then reneging and up charging you after you have made plans around the travel times, dates, etc.

Now regardless of who I travel with its going to cost me $225 extra for the airfare, Why didn't they say that when i was booking ??????????? I would had reserved the airfare my self if they weren't going to do it. This is a mis managed outfit and as a result I'm out at least $225.00, they should have stood behind their promise.
