Have not received magazines
I gave a check in the amount of $118.0o for two magazines on January 6, 2009. I have not received any of the magazines. I have been trying for months to reach this company for phone but unable to get an answer and their voice mail box is full and will not accept any other voice mail. I also sent a letter to the Chesapeake, VA address with no response. I am fully convinced that this is a scam. A young man came to my door selling these magazines in order for him to go to school. I would appreciate any information on what I should do now in order to get a refund from this fraud company.

never received magazines
I purchased 2 magazine subscriptions from a young man named Marshall 11 months ago (July 12, 2008) from True Vision, Inc. The check was cashed and to date I have received no magazines. I have tried to call multiple times and usually get a "mailbox full" message. On two occasions I have been able to leave a message however, no one has ever called me back. I have also attempted to fax them and got a "no longer in service" message.

Merchandise never received
Until today, I did not know that I am just one of many who have been taken in by the sales personnel from this company who visited my home for the purpose of selling magazine subscriptions. Of course, they had a heartfelt story of why it was so important to support their cause and purchase magazines to help them get ahead in life.
People who prey upon the kindness of others who really want to help young people in need should be ashamed of themselves and punished. I continue to try to reach this company by phone and mail, but to no avail.

nondelivery of magazine subscription
Ordered a magazine subscription from a young woman who claimed to be down on her luck, working hard to regain custody of her children after overcoming drug addiction. Paid $50 for a subscription that never came.

scam
A representative of True Vision, Inc. came to our door last spring (June 2008) claiming to sell magazine subscriptions that would help her earn money to go to a beauty college. We got suckered into buying, and in return we received nothing. No magazines, no refunds, no returned voicemails. Beware of this dishonest "company" and keep your money.

Scam
Just one more report on the True Vision, Inc. scam. I bought a renewal magazine subscription back in May 2008. Same story as the others here, the well-dressed young man claimed he was trying to get back on his feet and was selling magazine subscriptions to do so. Because this was a renewal, I wasn't immediately concerned. Once I started receiving notices from the magazine that my subscription was about to run out, I knew something was up.
I'd actually searched for the True Vision, Inc. company on complaintsboard.com prior to making the purchase and it turned up nothing, unless I missed it. No database is perfect.
Sidenote: If you search for True Vision here, you'll find a few 'rebuttals' posted by an 'employee' known as 1mickey. My 'salesman' was Mickey Clements, and I wonder if it isn't the same guy hoping to screw a few others out of their money.

Non delivery
Young lady came to the door selling magazine subscriptions through True Vision. Delivery was supposed to be a month ago and I've heard nothing. Very frustrated.
