Rates

They recently increased their calling rates, say from US to UK by a multiple of 3. No prior notification of intended price increase. When challenged, they point to the fine print in the Terms and Conditions, that claim that they are allowed to increase any rate as they want.

False Promises and NO Instant Activation

I tried to signup for a TrueRoots account for $5 using their online form. After completing my order, my credit card was charged and I received confirmation on the next page. Instead of receiving instant activation (as TrueRoots advertise), I was instructed to call their customer service since my account was "going to take some time to review". I called their customer service team and was told someone would call me back, but absolutely no further communication was made to me.

I have since moved on to MyWQN, http://www.mywqn.com, and I couldn't be happier! TrueRoots simply doesn't care about their new customers and that's fine by me; I ended up at the right place by choosing MyWQN anyway. Avoid the wait and promises of TrueRoots by checking out MyWQN instead.
