Do not trust this company
Beware of doing business with this company. Do NOT trust them. I signed up with Trugreen on 8/18/09 and have had nothing but problems. On 9/11 they came and aerated and seeded my lawn, I was present for this and when they were done i was given 3 invoices. when read them, one was for 18lbs of fertilizer, cost $57.78 (this was never applied) When i called they said it was a mistake and that I will receive my next treatment for free. I also said that I would not be paying the invoice for fertilizer. The next time my lawn was treated 10/23 the new service tech put down weed control and fertilizer and told me that i should have the lawn aerated and seeded??? they just did this 6 weeks ago??? I called and they came out and aerated and seeded again. In december after I received a letter from my credit card company stating that trugreen told them the $57.78 disputed charge had been worked out and that I would pay it, I had had enough. I paid the bill and canceled trugreen just to be rid of them. Stupidly I was talked back into doing business by Rick Gilmore. I was promised the following, the first 2 treatments for free aeration and seeding in the fall for free, and after the first 2 applications Rick would come and see if I was satisfied. On 3/25/10 the first application for 20 lbs of fertilizer was applied and I received an invoice for no charge, so far so good. On 4/6/10 (12 days later) I received another invoice stating that another 20 lbs of fertilizer was applied at no charge. when I called Rick and asked what was going on he told me that additional fertilizer had not been put down and that this new invoivce was actually for the 3/26 application??? I told him that this does not make any sense and he told me this was not brain surgery but lawn care. This statement did not answer my question. At this point I told him to cancel my service. I would rather give up the additional free application, aeration and seeding, then put up with this company
