I came across trump University by accident. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in May of 2006. One year later I suffered from a stroke. I lost the whole right side of my brain. My ex-husband couldn't handle it, so I divorced him. My settlement was very generous. I realized that my living expenses were more than my income. I had to keep taking money out of my savings and realized that I had to find a better investment, or would run out in a few years. then along came trump U. when I started out I had $20, 000.00, and my bills all caught up. At the first "free one" I invested in myself(their words). I found myself at a 3 day workshop, that was miserable. The room must have been 30 degrees. It was just another give us money and we'll make you rich scam! I repeatedly told them that I had to have someone walk me through a deal, my brain can be a real challenge when learning new stuff. I had just paid my rent through October, which again, I repeatedly told them. The mentoring is a load of horse pucky. All that money, then setting up a business...travel to classes, which I cannot afford to attend, and I am broke. I lost my job and am barely scraping by on unemployment. That isn't all though. I was evicted, and nearly ended up on the streets. The only thing that saved me was the Veterans Administration. I served many years ago. I just don't understand how anyone could take advantage of my circumstances, I am a disabled veteran!! How many of those at trump u are vets? none would be my guess, or they would never treat me in this manner. Can anyone help me? I am at the governments mercy for the rest of my life...I started working at 8 years old, strawberry and bean fields in Oregon's Willamette valley. I am not afraid to work, but my disease makes it very difficult. This is not the future I envisioned. Shame on trump u. They are theives, plain and simple theives, the whole lot of them. They would do well to check the ADA(Americans with disabilities Act) as well as the law!!
