I downloaded and PAID for HistoryKill2010 in August of 2009 but the Unlock code provided to me WOULD NOT WORK. I am aware that the info I have to type in is totally 'case-sensitive' and I purchased and Unlocked some previous versions such as HK2005 and HK2008 with success. Since (August of 2009) I have REPEATEDLY contacted Trustsoft for a solution to this problem. About a year ago the automatic response informed me that the time since I (allegedly) purchased the software was more than 90 days old so I would have to RE-PURCHASE the Unlock Code. I did not do this but continued, every 2 or 3 months, to contact Trustsoft in an attempt for some type of solution. I have NOT received any response from them. I was, however, sent the occassional messages requesting that I UPGRADE my HK2010 software. So, they must have me on their data-base. Then, earlier this month, I had to change over Hard-drives and upgrade my operating system so I again contacted Trustsoft AFTER down-loading HK2010 to my new system. Of course I tried the original (and only) Unlock Code as sent to me in August of 2009 and of course it would not work. I then requested a NEW unlock code, got no reply, so again PAID $15.95 for the code to be re-sent to me and to no surprise it would NOT work. I have all the pertinent numbers as sent to me by Trustsoft. I sent one more email to the company this morning but remain pessimistic about my chances. Does anyone have an answer to this problem - (why am I being ignored?)?
I do not know what else to do except get the Better Business Bureau or reputable consumer advocates involved. Thanks for reading this. Howard.
