Tv/dvd is grabage
I bought a Trutech Tv/DVD combo from Target and the DVD broke within a month, took it back to the store and they gave me the same tv . I took that home and within 6 months it was broken again, this time the tv would not work, I spoke to the store manager and once again was send home with a BRAND NEW Trutech tv, 3 months later and this piece of crap uis broken again and this time i have no recourse, PLEASE DO NOT BUY TRUTECH, thhey offer no customer serveice, tech support and have zero warranty

It stopped working/Broke 7months!
TruTech 17inch monitor tv/ dvd broke with in 7 months of purchase!!!Dang; I threw away the box and Target doesn't sell that model anymore! Too bad... kids mad at TruTech! peace out~

Scam and cheating
I purchased a 512 MB MP3 player and it will only let me load the player half way with music and it tells me that it is full. Yet when I go into properties it shows that only half the drive is being used with 81 songs on it all MP3 format. Can I increase the capacity to use all the space.

Broken
I bought a tv from target 19 inch flat screen from trutech and it broke within 6 months. I see on the website this is common as many other have had this issue with trutech and target. Just want to add my name to the list of complaint telling people not to shop there.

Fraud & scam
We also bought a 17" TruTech DVD/TV for our daughter for her college dorm, what a BIG mistake!!! It hasn't even been a year and it just decided to stop working for no reason whatsoever. Did anyone try to contact the Attorney General? I am going to contact him and make him aware of the numerous complaints about this piece of junk!!! If I find out any info I will post it.

Hard to turn it on, DVD fell inside
In a couple of months after purchase it is hard to turn TV set on.
The model 17" LCD TV PVS31170S1. I have to push the "On" button several times. Sometimes I can hear the sound but don't see a picture. After 10-15 pushes the picture comes on. Now a DVD disc fell inside the TV. Poor cuality,

a possible solution to trutech mp3 player complaints
This isn't really a complaint but it may help you people with the "defective" trutech mp3 players
Go to Google and type in USBDLM, go to the website, download it and follow the help file instructions
It took me a while to figure out how to get my "defective" mp3 player to work and this is the software I found turns out all you need is some extra disc drives and since Ive downloaded this software my mp3 player works 100% right every time
however your mp3 player is guarenteed to work only if you follow the USBDLM help file

TV/DVD broken within 1 year!
Bought this on special during the holiday season and thought the deal was too good to be true. It turns out I was right. Not long after my 90 days were up, the picture messed up and the DVD player quit working. (Will not even open). I tried to contact TruTech and tried going through Target. I have not gotten any resolution and am very dissatisfied with both brands.

TV gets blacked!
On several local channels at different times of the day, a large blacked out rectangle appears and obscures the picture on the TV! It will not go away for about an hour or 2 sometimes!!! How infuriating! And there is no one to ask about fixing this problem.
