Used flimsy device just once to try to clear slight plumbing problem (slow drainage). After inserting flimsy snake into drain rotating it, tried to remove the snake, it got stuck about half-way the length of the snake, so pulled a little, it came apart First the red end, then the tip. Seems to me it should have been manufactured with a bit more care/workmanship. You can do the same thing, like I have in the past, with a wire coat hanger & with better results without leaving any parts behind. Taking the "Super-Dooper-Coat-Hanger-Snake" back. Save your $$ and bend a coat hanger, making a small loop on the end to enable debris such as hair, to catch on the hanger, in such a way that it bends where it needs to. Rotate slowly, pulling back slowly. you will readily see if there is anything there causing problems. Always use strainers before allowing water to go down any drain except, of course, the garbage disposal. Yes, I know it's gross to have to constantly clean strainers, but it's well worth the time and effort. Good luck with you very own Super-Turbo-Snake. BTW, what is the deal with that word in the name?
