Turin Jewelry, Haute Jewelry Direct, Shop Dani, Danielle Janine Jewelry, Bella Sole Jewelry.
Their new name is Turin Jewelry. www.turinjewelry.com"
I fell for this scam and I am completely embarrassed.
Under "Bella Sole Jewelry" back in late September 2009 they had a $9.00 jewelry offer with a "cancel anytime" policy (which I did print out). I ordered the jewelry online under "www.shopdani.com/bellasole" and the $9.00 charge came under a company called "Shop Dani". When I received the jewelry the package said it came from "Danielle Janine Jewelry" 990 Grove St. Ste. 204 Evanston, IL 60201. Shortly after, I got in touch with customer service number during "business hours" 10am-6pm at 1-888-747-3264 (888-SHP-DANI) and cancelled the account. I then noticed a $68.00 charge about a week or so later. I was able to get in touch with customer service again. I told them I cancelled the account already and they told me to "refuse the package upon arrival". They promised me my account would be credited in 60 days. I never received the package, so I figured they never sent it and were going to refund the charge.
60 days have past and not only did I never get the jewelry or get the refund for $68.00, I saw a new $89.00 charge yesterday pending on my account under Turin Jewelry. I googled it and found "www.turinjewelry.com. I never authorized this charge. Under the website they had the same $9.00 offer so I had a bad feeling it was Shop Dani. I called the NEW customer service number 1-866-794-2030, it was a recording and I left a message WITHOUT any personal information other then my name and general contact number. I called back during "business hours" 10am-6pm and got a recording "You have reached Seattle Coffee Direct", I stayed on hold to see if anyone answered and I ended up in the same voicemail box I originally left a message in (I didn't leave another message). I just looked up the "shopdani.com" website and they still exist, so I called the original number 1-888-747-3264 (888-SHP-DANI) during "business hours" and all I get is a recording - 'All customer service representatives are busy, please leave a message".
I called my Chase bank and they are aware of these companies' scams. They will credit my account for $68.00 for "merchandise never received" and when the $89.00 officially posts, I have to file a "Fraudulent charge claim". I also cancelled my debit card and will be issued a new number.
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE COMPANIES!!! If you already have CONTACT YOUR BANK OR CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY!!!
