Failue to deliver product or issue refund

Lack of Flavor
I was so excited at the prospect of a fried turkey for Christmas dinner, that I traveled 35 miles to pick up the turkey on Christmas Eve. I overlooked the fact that they lost my order and I had to wait over an hour for them to fry me one. It was obvious they were overwhelmed by the volume of orders. My fear was then, which later proved to be true, they would not get my order correct. On their website they claimed you can have 64 flavor combinations injected into a turkey. Even though I ordered multiple injections for different parts of the bird, I would have settled for 1 flavor; but there were NOT ANY flavor injections. The turkey was dry and lacked flavor. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Had they adhered to their order cut-off, I think this might have been a different posting. I can only go by the product I received which was disappointing and I will not be patronizing this establishment in the future.

malfunctioning online ordering
We ordered a discounted certificate for a Turkey from TurkeezRus, since it seemed like a good bargain. Admittedly on our part, we waited until the last day to place our order (Dec 16) in order to pick our turkey up before Christmas, but when we attempted to place our order online, the system did not recognize our certificate number and expected us to pay full price for the turkey. This was about 7:30 in the evening, so when we attempted to phone the location to correct the problem, we received no answer. We sent an email complaint, but we were basically told in the response a day later that we must have entered it wrong (we tried every possible number on the print out, and in every possible field, being a bit confused since they had both a coupon field and a gift certificate field). In fact, in the email response we were asked if we put the certificate number in the gift certificate field, when the instructions on the certificate said to put it in the coupon field. They made no effort to extend the deadline by one day for us in order to correct their mistake. I find this lack of service unacceptable.

Poor customer service
I searched the internet for a company that offered fried Turkey T'day dinners that could be delivered to my home. I came upon a company called, Turkeezrus an affiliate of Sweet Teas C&B. Since some of the reviews for Sweet Teas were favorable, I thought I would give their affiliate a try.

I made a $170.20 purchase on 11/22/2010 at 4:21:47 AM EST directly from http://www.turkeezrus.com. What a big mistake!!! I tried calling the company later that same day to confirm that my order went through and that there would not be any problems. Well, I spoke with a woman who said that she was on her way to the store and would call me once she got there to verify my order. She never called back, so I called her again the very next day 11/23/10. I again spoke with the same woman who apologized for not calling me back and said that my order was received and is being processed and is on schedule for delivery for 11/24/10.

Well, the night before T'day (11/24/10) @7p my UPS driver came through the neighborhood but when I stopped him, he advised that he had no delivery for me. WOW!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Here I am w/out T'day dinner for the following day! I called Turkeezrus and got no answer! I immediately called my bank and disputed the charge.

Later that night (approx. 9p) I get a call from Turkeezrus delivery driver stating that they are trying to complete their deliveries but they have been stuck in traffic and wanted to know if it would be ok with me for them to delivery my T'day dinner the next day (on T'day!)

What a Joke!!! By that time I had gone to the neighborhood Walmart and purchase some things to try and throw together a T'day dinner that didn't seem thrown together!

Funny I could never reach the owner, but after I told the delivery driver what a HORRIBLE experience I had with their business and that I will share it with ALL who would listen...Lo & Behold-the owner calls me and leaves a message of apology and a promise to refund my money. I finally contacted my bank and had disputed the charge and the bank credit the $170.20 back to my account.
