False Advertising
You only get 30 hours per month and 3 per day, this is unlimited!
it is crap! they offer a package for unlimited help. and then the child is unable to connect to the service! the customer service is rude as could be.
you speak to 30 people who know nothing and you end up pulling your hair out of your head before you get a question answered. they put you on hold for 30 minutes and you dont know if they are in fact returning to help you.
i am disgusted with this tutor visita nonsense. crap company, tutor vista.

Big fraud
Tutor Vista is a big fraud company. They have not paid my money for the last 6 months and I am following up everyday. They always say "we are working on your case. We will contact you within 24 hours". Guess what, no one calls. They are big liars.. I speak to their customer care, day and night and no one is bothered there. They want to eat every customers money. I don't know how this company operate. Please stay away from this company. They are not worth it with their education they provide. I am an Indian and I am very sorry to say that this company *** !! No business ETHICS !!.

Poor choise
I used this tutoring service for a year which is mathway it's okay and it's not the best, I'll pick them over tutor-vista any day of the week, year, day you know what i mean and they tried to pursue me in trying this service and when I'm being pursued like this i backed off. Ooh may you should try the better business bureau or depending on where they located? Like if Florida the have a company the agriculture and consumer complaint and this company is helping me with a matter, but if the BBB does not help try the attorney general office and if they can't help and if they know of a company that can help you? No Matter how much money it is not for them to keep or even rip you off.

Charging me unauthorized transactions from my credit card
From my credit card TUTOR VISTA is charging £64.69 (99.99 US Dollars) every month since 14th December 2010 (ref 866-7350516)which I never authorised. I am not using any of of Totor Vista sites for any purpose. Please stop taking money form my account and I need a refund for the money you already taken from my credit card. I have informed my credit card company about this transation in January but my statement shows Tuto Vista is still taking money from my card. Please cancel this unauthorised transaction and give me a refund asap.

Waste of $
I signed up for Tutor vista for the monthly special 49.00 for tutoring assistance in math. We tried to use service for the first time and no tutor came online to help us with our math! I tried several times to get someone. But no luck. I tried the email address and still have not heard back from them. I then Cancelled right away and tried to call the 800 number and it said mail box full! I requested help from rosy who finally came on and she said "ok.And then never returned to assist me! This is crazy!

Subscriber Beware
My 10th grade child had a late night question when studying for math final. Checked out TutorVista, looked okay. Signed up for 1 week special at $19.99. During Registration there were boxes for "Auto Renewal" weekly, monthly, etc. Specially checked box declining auto renewal. My child had to discontinue first session and ask for another tutor as the individual helping her was not as versed in English as was necessary to communicate back and forth. Total session for one night 35 minutes. We have not used since that one session. I was emailed a receipt/payment confirmation from TutorVista for $99.99 auto monthly renewal. When I tried to call the number listed, "Mailbox full". I sent email to TutorVista and contacted credit card company to dispute charge. Advised this happens quite frequently with this company. They also knew that the "Mailbox full" was their standard message. My credit card co. gave me number to TutorVista. I called, they argued said it was part of their "Terms & Conditions". I too argued and indicated I had advised credit card company. After 10 minutes TutorVista conceded to refund my money. . . .but wait . . .I had to ask them not to charge me for the next month! Beware of this company and its practices.

bill charges
i used to have tutor vista and it was cheap but then they charged me 99.99 and i told them that i wanted to cancel my account but they didnt so i had to cancel my account BE CAREFAL of tutor vista because if you get tutor vista you will be charged even if you cacel your account so i had to cancel my card but even if you cancel the bank account and get a new card they will FIND OUT your credit card number in 3 week after you chaged your card . TUTOR VISTA will call the banks and thy will give YOUR CREDIT CARD. number . if you get tutor vista you never will stop getting charge even if you cancel your bank account so they will know what bank you have and they will never stop charging even if you change bank every two week so tutor vista will charge you FOREVER never get tutor vista because after getting it you will be charged as much as they want even if you change banks or card i cancel my card last week and checking account and this week they charged account even if i change my card and account number as you can see you can get charged even if you chage bank because tutor vista will call the banks and they will get your money FOREVER . Is like having cancer that what tutor vista will do to you NEVER get tutor vista and they would evwn rip you off because then evwn if you go to a different bank for example i went to 3 different banks and i still got charges

Freaking sucks
I signed up after they told me that they got rid of their demo service. Every tutor I talked to either stopped chatting with me right after I wrote out my question, or simple said "I am not familiar with this type of problem, please wait while I connect you to another tutor." The connection takes about 5 minutes after which a message pops up saying "We're sorry, but all of our tutors are currently busy. Please try again in 20 minutes." They do NOT offer a money back guarantee on any services that are "specials" which is hilarious, because everything is always "On Special". I talked to a total of about 20-25 tutors, none of them knew a basic stoichiometric chemistry problem. After a while I just started experimenting and asking them basic math problems... they kept giving me the same message "I'm sorry, I am not familiar with this problem..."
Overall, highly highly highly would NOT recommend. Too much frustration.

Failed
I tried the free part. They couldn't answer a single question. Then they kept trying to get me to sign up. After reading this I'm sure glad I didn't. They just want money. I think it would be 1000000 times better to just go to your teacher and ask. It's free, they understand, they can help you actually learn and you deal with them face-to-face. tutorvista is probably the worst tutoring ever. And I can't believe it's 100 bucks a month. Yeah, they're in it for the money. Do not trust.

College students beware
I signed up for a one month plan only, since I only need help with one section of my college alg. I asked the customer service rep. if I could ONLY pay once and not have to sign a contract or renew. They said yes, I could pay a one month 80.00 fee. The following month I found a 200.00 charge to my bank account form Tutor Vista.. I contacted them and asked them to cancel my account. At first they tried selling me to extend my account and then they informed me that they could not refund any of the charges. I had to ask multiple times to cancel my account before they did, then I ask for a confirmation email and this to was a fight. BUYERS BEWARE!!! Poor customers services and not worth 80.00 a month, you're better off paying for a real tutor. Do not use!!!
