Stay away from this website
I've been talking to the Manager for several hours now and am just getting a long sales pitch. My concern was the fact they over bill. When you use the trial, they will bill you for an additional month when the trial is up. During our discussion I decided to do some research and discovered they were not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. When I brought this up as an additional concern, I was flat out lied to and told they were accredited. When I showed proof of their F rating on the BBB website, as well as where it said they were not accredited, I was kicked from the session. But on to my point of this auto renewal clause. After about and hour of arguing I was finally offered a membership devoid of the auto renewal clause. It seems I was being bribed or hushed, or even goated into joining the website. I had discovered their real money maker with the auto renewal, so I was awarded the prize of not having to suffer it if I still signed up.

Do NOT use TutorNext.com
They will take your money and you have no way to cancel the service or get service. I signed up for a 1 week trial. The account was a non-auto-renewal account. Meaning that the service ended at the end of one week and I (in theory) had to renew if I decided I wanted to keep the service. I asked several questions over the first few days. The tutors tried to answer them but non of them were even able to start the questions and all of the told me to find a different tutor. After a about 4 days I asked for a refund of my initial $39.99. They never responded.
Then my credit card statement came. TutorNext.com hit me up for the 1 week trial plus another $199.99 for another month of service. Hmm I had a non-auto-renewal account. I tried to contact them for the next 2 weeks. Finally, I decided to pursue it one evening. After a series of e-mails to all their e-mail accounts I received are response, that said the only way to cancel was to go on-line to the Customer Service Chat and request to cancel the account. I tried that. They directed me to e-mail customer services. Customer service e-mail told me to go on lin and not to call. On-line Customer Service Chat gave me a phone number (same number I was told not to call). I had tried calling the number several times and never received anyone and the voice mail box was full. ON-Line Chat told me to call now and someone would answer. Amazing, someone did. They told me to call a different number. The new number rang and rang and rang (maybe for five minutes) Finally an answering service picked up. They told me to go online to cancel and walked me through a process. It didn't work the on-line cancelation process gave the following response "On-line cancelation does not work for your account because I due not have an auto-renewal account." In proper word use and all. They finally agreed to give me a refund of $199.99 the $39, 99 is stupid tax for doing business with cons.

It is impossible to get my money back from them and they are so rude
This is the most horrible tutoring service you could ever use. The tutors are incompetent. I wanted the tutor to explain pre-calculus example in the book so I gave him the problem and he kept doing it wrong! He was giving me wrong answers constantly.
At the time I signed up the sales rep also told me that my account would not be autorenewed and he/she would cancel it from the start. Yeah, that was a lie! It is impossible to get my money back from them and they are so rude! Appearantly this company does not even have a PHONE!!

At the time I signed up the sales rep also told me that my account would not be autorenewed and he/she would cancel it from the start. Yeah, that was a lie! It is impossible to get my money back from them and they are so rude! Appearantly this company does not even have a PHONE!! Do yourself a favor and use Tutorvista. I have used them several times and they are great. Tutors are great and actually help you!
