I ordered a set of ‘Northern Exposure’ discs paid for through MasterCard. The discs arrived and all were optical copies of original discs with obviously hand-placed (many with ripples) labels each numbered by ball-point pen.
The first disc failed to initialize. The company said to try another DVD player. I said I have a state-of-the-art Pioneer BD-09, Pioneer’s flagship model.
The second disc skipped chapters. At that point I asked for a refund. The company said I would have to send the discs registered mail to an address in China which I did. The package was returned several months later, marked by China Post, as ‘unclaimed’
The company has not returned my e-mails.
