Poor service 10 service visits since October. Finally admitted that TWC is kicking customers off Roadrunner for allege over usage. Having spent over 40 hours waiting for service and being given excuses such as my TV is acting like an antennae interfering with Roadrunner, your modem is to close to your computer over heating, corrosion etc. what I did was send a letter to Time Warner and received no reply so sent the same letter to the FCC. Received a reply form the smoother who doesn't understand the technical part at all.
TWC is trying to increase revenues by forcing customers to upgrade by kicking them off for alleged overuse. They provide slow service and excuses for interruptions that don't make sense. If you have problems contact your states cable commission and FCC or the attorney general . TWC doesn't have a contact number or fax for executive levels. They don't want your complaints and force customers to go through the same phone tree every time that you call.
They refuse to assign a trouble shooter or coordinator to handle customer complaints. I went to FIOS and will favor a bid that includes customer service as priority. Remember the public good built cable systems and they only operate for the public good. I think the FCC should require cable companies to open the ISP to competition. This would increase service and reduce costs to the consumer. Just like the old days when Ma Bell was forced to allow competitiona8c1 it will result in better service and lower costs.
