Then, after showing the paper copy, I had to call the RI store to have them contact the CT store to verify the warranty's "Authenticity". It took 5-weeks for them to return the projector, which required a simple procedure involving the pressing of three buttons, which they would not disclose.
Then they lost the power cord and had to contact another store to get a spare power cord. When asked why it took so long, the stores mngr replied warranties were last priority to paying repair customers.
After going through this, another problem arose. The lamp had stopped working. When I bought the warranty, they told me that it covered the lamps for five years. The manager of the CT store fought with me and my wife for weeks, telling us that it was not covered.
My wife then contacted the district manager of the store, who talked to the manager of the CT store, and told him that, yes, it was covered. When my wife went in to pick up the projecter, the manager of the store, embarrassed her by laughing at her for calling the DM and "telling on him" he made a huge deal about this.
After leaving the store my wife again contacted the DM and told him what had
happened, and he awarded her 15 % off all future purchases, her only
question to him was "Why would I go back into that store".
So as you can see, this company is not very professional, and I feel as though something should be done about this. No one should be treated like this, especially when it comes to spending hard earned cash. thank you...
