SINCE I CANCELED MY BROADBAND SERVICES IN2006 AND I KEEP ON GETTING CHARGED $4.95. I THOUGHT IT WAS FOR MY SCREEN NAME UNTIL I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM AOL TO UPDATE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION. I CALLED AOL AND I WAS SHOCKED TO KNOW THAT MY SCREEN NAME IS FREE AND THESE CHARGES ARE FOR VOICE EMAIL ( A SERVICE I HAVE NEVER USED BECAUSE I WAS NOT AWARE OF). I REQUESTED TO CANCEL THE SERVICE WITH RYAN FROM THE BILLING DEPARTMENT. HE SAID THAT THIS IS A PREMIUM SERVICE AND HE NEEDS TO TRANSFER ME TO ANOTHER DEPARTMENT.
A GENTLEMAN PICKED UP THE PHONE BY THE NAME OF BRIAN AND AFTER I TOLD HIM MY STORY HE SAID HE CANNOT HELP ME BECAUSE HE IS IN THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT AND HE HAS TO TRANSFER ME BACK TO BILLING. HE TRANSFERRED ME AND I GOT A AUTOMATIC VOICE MESSAGE THAT THIS LINE DOES NOT ACCEPT CALLS FOR NOW AND THAT I SHOULD CALL AGAIN LATER.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?
