I received one of these letters in the mail today from UBI Payment Services. It claims that I have won $5000.00 dollars payable in the form of a check. All that is needed is to sign the release form and mail it back. The problem is that I never entered any such contest and the return address is a P.O. box number: P.O. Box 4805 in Robina Town Center in Australia.

This is a common mail fraud scam, your Identity is stolen and since the return address is a P.O. box number that is outside of the USA. There will be nothing that you will be able to do about it. They already have you name and address and the only thing that they want is for you to return a signed release form. This means that they are trying to get your signature. Do not fall for this, it is an international scam.
