Harssing phone calls
So this so called company calls my 15 yr old nephew (while he's in school) then calls my sister (who they say they are looking for) then they call my mother, then they call her husband (my sisters), her mother-in-law, sister-in-laws. When we call the company to get some answers and they would not give us any unless we provide her ss# or mailing address or the birthdate which I gave none of this to them since I have dealt with people like this before, I was to ask for a Mr.Berry at ext. 639-29, well when I called asked for Mr.Berry they asked for ext# I gave it I was transferred to another person who asked me for a case no# which I gave them, she said she would transfer me WELL when I finally got to Mr.Berry I answered his questions but he would not answer mine he said he had to put me on hold for a minute which I told him that was all he had was a minute...5 minutes later I hung up and called the same 800 # and load and be hold he answered the phone and he called me by name (sisters name) he would not give me any info just that he needs to finish the call he was on...so I waited WAY TO LONG if you ask me so I hung up and called back a 3rd time this time when I gave the extn. I was given to a female who said she was the SUPERVISOR and that Mr. Berry had just come to her to take the call so I asked her what this was all about and here again she asked me for the ss# or my date of birth I told her that she did not need it that her company needs to stop calling and harassing family members and she stated that she has the right to do this. I stated to her if she did not stop harassing the family I would turn it over to the police...she hung up on me... so I called back and the nice lady on the phone just said hello but gave no company name I stated to her you just hung up on me and she said OH NO MISS I WOULD NEVER DO THAT ... until I gave her my sisters name then she got so RUDE i told her to stop right there that they would no longer be calling family members and that all the info was being given to the police and the bbb and so on...I told her the jig is up it's nothing but a scam and she said BITCH YOUR THE SCAM PAY YOUR BILLS...
If this is a true company (and I know it's not) they would answer the phone using the company name and not HELLO they wouldn't be calling family members none of this kind of stuff.
I work for a major company this company is known world wide and if we conducted our self like this there would be no company and I would not have a job

Poor Labor and fraud
First off I would like to start by saying for you to say I didn't give a F about my job was so far left. I will defend myself and inform you that I had a miscarriage due to the long hours and stress brought on by DIBectkton of which he informed me to sue you and company for. But because I loved my job I chose not to go that route! So before you say I don't care stop listening to the crap that comes out of your directors mouths..

Now where should I begin... As far as the verification of checks and NSF's per DIBeckton Jean Alexis and a few others were told that if we could not get a hold of the bank we could verify in other ways (if you view some of Jeans work you will see we were on the same page per DIBeckton) so the following were implemented by him:

1. call the bank if unable to verify then;
2. call the debtor if unable to contact the debtor
3. verify off history unless sif then push it through.

So I followed his direct instructions he also informed me personally that at the end of the month we did not need to verify checks since we have a low NSF rate and I was pulling too many checks and we needed to hit goal!! So I didn't then I got written up for it.. Now as far as the NSF's in which CPDunham states I did not follow instruction we I did I followed the instruction given to me by DIBeckton which was if a debtor had Two NSF's they must then send in payment certified. And I had previously informed DIBeckton that the debtor had told me to re-run the check because the time he called in (the debtor) the check had already ran. Check the recording!! So I followed instruction and did DIBecktons Job as instructed!

I have many emails from him stating to the team I was in charge in his absence (many emails)!! So for him to say or you of anyone for that matter to say I didnt care oh but I did so much I argued with DIBeckton for a while after JJAlexis termination that I need to focus on my department (H) since per him we were long time in jeopardy of losing it! But I continued to do his job for him!

Now The UTL's that was an instruction from DIBeckton in which I mentioned to another Supervisor that I am becoming uncomfortable doing this due to the fact it is going to bite us in the butt.. Going from third to number 1 for example!! Then I found alot of them on actual collectors desks not just on H50. This was due to the fact that not only did DIBeckton give me his passwords (trinidad2 then 3 each time the number changed ) he also had given it to collectors so It became harder to keep up with who is doing what because they didn't have to wait for me to verify they could do so on their own. So the NSF rate would go up but I would try to remove those checks I could not verify but per DIBeckton I was as I stated removing to many. And our goal was to keep the project.

So with doing DIBecktons job and the other supervisors because they didnt know or couldnt be found I lost control of my teams.. Starting with Y when I was along side RCProphete. I was dealing with my peer and DIBeckton informing us every other month he would be leaving ither in November due to his spouse being a diplomat and he didnt need this job or he was leaving in April of 2010 then it was he was leaving in June of 2010 then it was again at the end of the year.. So When I became pregnant I had to get a note from my doctor because DIBeckton was unwilling to work out a schedule with me and my concern was I would miscarry again. DIBeckton said on many occasions I dont have F"n time for this Sh*t.
So after two weeks had gone by I finally brought in a doctors note that I could only work an eight hour shift! But I still herd a lot of harrassing comments in which I went through with DIBeckton for a couple of months and of course I could have sued but I didnt because I cared about my job. And I appreciate the fact that I learned a lot of right things from WAKing. Then he informed the supervisor team he was in charge of the L, LC and PR departments but had me doing a lot of the work so again we went back and forth because I was as I said unable to focus on the H team!

He was also aware of the attendance issue through emails and I was told not to act on them unless he stated otherwise. Now all of a sudden because H is on the chopping block he wants everyone written up on finals and pay deductions. Alot of the issues DIBeckton was fully aware and totally disregarded them.

Sanju I cared about my job I even excepted the disrespect from you and others but I worked my but off as a Manager in training for a Directors job because lord knows DIBeckton was not doing it. So when I was demoted I was told as I was leaving per you, as I have herd so much you have had to say negative about me including CPDunham from DIBeckton, that is she leaving and dont give her anything. Well you have trained me to be an outstanding competitor in this business and I appreciate that! So since DIBeckton wants to blame me for everything where collectors are concerned and you I will inform you he along with others are planning a class action law suite his last words as he helped me to my vehicle that friday night, however DIBeckton is such a liar (google him) as he states he will not be with the company after May of which I feel is another lie I thought you should know! Besides the fact that he kept drama between the supervisors to keep us divided.

So your trust is in the wrong person and Sanju I never lie!! I wonder how Citi would feel if they new the tricks that UCB showed me in how to pad numbers to look as though we are hitting and continue to keep it going with UTL' s and keeping the NSF rate at level or let it go every so often to try to catch up? I think of this every time your company gives me a bad reference, which is illegal. Also the ones you call your favorites for what ever reason who are not contributing and do what they want, talk really bad about you and the company! Maybe you should re-think your alliances.


Maybe they should know... since I can easily prove it!! Don't pay these people!!

Harassing calls for someone else
I keep recieving calls from a recorded message for someone other than myself, I have contacted this person and given them the information to get in contact with UCB. I have left a message with the company indicating that this person is not at this number but still get several calls a day. The number is blocked on my call back so I can't even block the number through my cell phone company. ANY Suggestions?

Scam
Advertise "STRENGTH IN NUMBERS"; This is SOOO FAKE!!! UCB does NOT ask what medication you are on.UCB also is having a conference in Houston on 6/23/10 to pump themselves up.

UCB does not CARE if you are ROADKILL!! Houston is 5 million strong, we do not need them, or want them here.

OPT-OUT for all info on UCB your life will be better off.

Besides, the price of the medication is to high you must pay for research & development.

For a 3 month supply probably cost over $11K.!!!

Harassing phone call
A blocked number from out of state (listed as out of area on caller ID) came in with a middle aged female collections agent demanding private and personal information about one of our employees without releasing which company she was with and what the reason for the phone call was. She refused to provide information saying federal law prevented her from releasing that information. So I told her we don't accept personal phone calls here. She threatened me with a violation of federal law for not releasing the information. I asked who her employer was and all she would say is UCB. She would not explain what it stood for or what the purpose of the call was. I told her again that we don't accept personal phone calls here. She began to scream so I interrupted her and said no personal phone calls and hung up.

If they call again I'll file a police report. They'll track the number that called us and refer it to the appropriate agency. Oregon is a consumer state and the attorney general's office has long arms.

Debt Collection
This company is ruthless. They just called my mother this morning and told them that I had sent a check to them for $2000 and I didn't have the money in the bank. They also told her that I told them I was getting it from her. They wanted me to transfer my debt to her credit card where I am an authorized user. I have asked repeatedly to have her number removed. They told me they did. I attempted to make payment arrangements with them but in the end their nasty supervisor, Ana Curry, came on and said no way that I had to pay the entire settlement. Needless to say, I'll have to call them one more time, tell them I don't have the money and that I'm in a debt management program now.

Calling my elderly parents
Calling my elderly mothers house looking for my "boyfriend", asking if we are married and where he can be found. I returned the call and they were arrogant and the supervisor was just as ignorant. BEWARE

Harassment
I keep receiving harassing phone calls from UCB. They tell me that they are trying to collect a debt for citi cards. I need to take care of the balance due or the account will be turned over to the courts. Here is the part that really gets me. I have never received anythig from them in the mail. They tell me that they have just sent me another bill but I never get one. They are rude and very hatefull on the phone and make comments like "if you dont make a payment right away you will be sorry". I dont even know if this is a real representative of citi card. They never send me any this in writing and want a payment over the phone based on just their word. They call me 3-4 times a day and leave me messages.

harassment
yesterday I recieved a voicemail on my cell from a Ms. Paramore at UCB. I called her back from my work phone to inform her that I had retained an attorney. She kept asking why and when I informed her that she could field all questions to my attorney...she hung up. I called back and talked to John. He was insistent as to why I retained an attorney. I calmy gave him the phone number to my attorney and hung up. Not 2 minutes later John called back. My work line, no less, to inform me that I was taking the easy way out by filing bankruptcy and before he hung up on me for the 2nd time he wanted to tell me how big a loser I am. I understand they are a collection agency. But in these difficult times you would think you could expect a little more professionalism
