BEWARE!! My mum was searching for some UGG boots for my sister's Christmas present, she doesn't really keep up with the prices of the latest trends and just tried to fulfill my sister's christmas wish and buy some boots for her.

Unfortunately it seems that the website she purchased from (http://uggselling.co.uk) were not genuine. Depsite the website looking almost identical to that of the original UGG boot, money has been taken, apparently goods have been dispached, but she is still yet to receive them!!

I saw in yesterdays news that the Police have shut down lots of fake UGG boots sites and immediately became concerned as my mum had only been expressing concerns that she hadn't yet received the boots that day.

When I went to find the website that she purchased from it was no longer working, emails bounce back and no contact could be made with the company!

I saw on the governments consumer direct website that she may be able to claim the amount back from her card issuer because she paid by credit card, but it seems you need to have lost over £100 in order to do so. Her card issuer is currently investigating whether she can dispute the payment, but at the moment holding little hope.

I would say beware to anyone thinking of buying UGGs this christmas unless of course you are absolutely certain that they are from a reuputable site.
