I have been a customer at this shop for a number of years. It recently changed names, not owners. Used to be a Purrfect Auto. I did all my services and repairs for my two cars there. The service person I dealt with all those years stopped working there. The new guy was very nice and appeared like he was trying to help me out. My car stalled on the road and I was short on funds. Long story short, let some idiot try to fix it instead he just broke stuff. Had it towed to Ultimate Auto and they put it back together best they could. The manager guy Terry called and said it needed the engine computer. I am a salesman and need my car in the meantime I am in a rental. He tells me it is going to be a $1000.00 to fix. I didn't have it, so he told me that I could make payments. The lady I dealt with for years always let me do that. I go to pick up my car and am told that the first computer shorted out so the owner wouldn't let me make payments just in case he didn't get a refund for it. I am still in a rental. I get most of the money together and pick up my car. Happy! Until I get about 12 miles down the road. 12 miles or 12 minutes whichever comes first. Everytime I drive it. I bought another vehicle so I could work. The whole ordeal was a nightmare. I know that my computer was not ever replaced. That it's my original one. I also needed a smog while it was there and Terry told me that it wouldn't passs smog with the engine light on, but the light only comes on after 12 miles or minutes when I got my car back the light was off, but cane on in 12. When you start it back up after awhile the light is off. So they knew when they released my car to me that it wasn't right but never said anything about it. I am afraid to take it back to them. When I went and paid the last $200.00 I wasn't able to drive it there as I live more than 12 miles from the shop. I was a loyal customer there for about 4 years. Sent friends and family to them. I was in the rental car for 33 days. I would have never agreed to the repairs if I had known that I wouldn't be able to make payments for the repairs.
