While placing an order on-line, I inadvertently skipped over two checked boxes that I was supposed to uncheck if I didn’t want the services offered by UMG*Buyersedge.

Personally, I believe that is outrageous and should be illegal. I should not have to read through pages of fine print with other products and services and UNCHECK what I DON’T want.

It was an entire pay period before I even knew the charges and been put on my card. Not even an e-mail confirmation that I had ordered it – like I always get with products I order on-line – very sneaky – because if I knew I would have cancelled it IMMEDIATELY.

I cancelled with the company, but by that time the 2nd months charges had been placed on my card (4 x 14.95). UMG* Buyersedge said they would credit me for the 2nd set of charges but not the first. To date, I only received 1 of the 14.95 charged. I have a very big problem with the fact that they will not reimburse me the entire amount $59.80. We all know they are going about their business unprofessionally; apparently it must be the only way they get business.

This is not a product I ordered or ever used. They should not be able to take advantage of people like this.

I too have been charged for the past 11 months ($11.99) for a membership that I don't recall signing up for... I called the toll free number provided on my credit card statement. First, I was told that they would credit me for 60 days. And I continue to fight it and eventually got to speak to the head supervisor. The best he would do for me was to credit me for the last 6 months. I told him that I would continue to dispute this with Discover card. When I spoke to Discover they told me that I was lucky that I got the 6 months credit and that by law that is all that they are required to credit me for... Beware of this fraud!!! I was told that when I placed an order with a company by the name of Personal Creations that I had signed up for the membership... I was tricked like so many other consumers have been...Don't let it happen to you! Buyer Beware!!!

$14.95 charge on debit card...no explanation...no contact information. Had to file a dispute with my bank and am waiting for a resolution. Watch your bank and credit card statements closely!

Using information that I gave to Skymall, UMG charge my bank acct with the amount of USD$14.95 for a link to see the Sky mall offers @ Internet (!) Sound stupid, but that they said when I request a refund. Of course I do not order anything.

I call to Skymall to put a complaint and request from they to protect my personal information more efficiently.

I'd order a new check card to prevent more unauthorized use of my bank account. I found this website when I tried to find more information regard UMG. Now I see that company was doing this before. That is not fare.
