To everyone seeking a loan, do NOT be fooled by Unifirst Financial's professional looking website. They are operating a scam! Their site address is www.unifirstfinancial.com. After applying on their site, you'll receive a phone call from one of their "reps" who will advise you that the loan is approved. They will then tell you the interest rate, monthly payment amount and term. They'll even fax you professional looking loan documents on their company letterhead. They will also tell you that there is a collateral for getting the loan, which has to be sent western union to their corporate office in Canada. You will have to send this to the attention of one of their "couriers." After you've done all that and you're waiting for the funds to show up in your bank account, when you call them to check on the status, you'll probably be told that your application was "flagged" and you then need to send more money to cover the insurance on the loan because of your credit. This insurance has to be sent once again to their courier. Bottom-line, you'll never receive any money and you're not able to get back the funds you sent via western union. These people are using VOIP phones, which gives the appearance of a real office phone line with extensions, voicemail, etc.. These people have been reported to law enforcement officials in the US and Canada. DO NOT BE FOOLED by www.unifirstfinancial.com!
