FAIL TO RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT
THIS IS A STUPID SERVICE INITIALLY THEY USED TO CALL US EVERY ONE HOUR AND PRESTERD US TO JOIN AND WHEN WE JOINED THEY STATED SENDING US ALL WRONG OVERCHARGED BILLS AND WHEN WE CANCELLED THE SERVICE THEY ARE NOT RETURNING THE SECURITY DEPOSIT AND STARTED A NEW CLAUSE THAT WE SHOULD HAVE ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP.THIS IS A VERY UN PROFESSIONAL COMPANY WE SHOULD PUT A LAW SUITE ON THEM.PLEASE DON'T JOIN THIS STUPID COMPANY.<br />

Long Distance Calling
I got this service for a month and they said that they will charge a $40 connection fee, which will be refunded to me anytime I cancel the service. Then, the service began and it was the most horrendous service I have ever had. When I got the first months bill, I received call charges for calls I never made. I know this because there are only two numbers that I ever call and they are both in India; e.g., I got a charge for a call to Iran. So, I call them to cancel the service and the customer service representative tells me that the $40 dollars will only be refunded if I cancel the service after one year. Not to state the obvious, I still canceled the service and i am much happier with my new service. This service is a fraud all the way. Don't trust a single word coming out the sales persons. I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. If you have had the same problem, please submit a complaint as well and we will make sure that they can't fool anymore people.

Bogus billing
I took internation calling service. they charged me for the month for which i did not took the service. and in their bill it shows huge time used. as well they says so many min free but they give only 1/10 th of that.<br />

my honest advice do not take this service at all.

Unsolicited calls
Union telecom has called me for the third time again, despite being listed on the DO NOT CALL list.
Their number is 1-865-940-0116
Looks like reverse spam calling is the only way to get them...If you have problems, its better you call this number so that the service is faster. Also, its good to pretend that you are a buyer...

Dishonest company
Union Telecom is a FRAUD. When you sign up with them you have to give them a “100 % refundable deposit” but guess what? Once you cancel their service you will never get your deposit back. It happened to me. Do not do any business with them, they are dishonest.

Fraud and Ripoff
This is big fraud and Rip-off company, They sending me wrong bill and charging me for call i never did, and if you asked to cancel the service, they never give your deposit $39.95 back. their customer service is terrible and very rude, stay away and if you have any issue with them file a complaint at http://www.bbb.org/us/
This kind of companies shouldn’t stay in business

FRAUD FOR MONEY AND SERVICE
THIS COMPANY'S PEOPLE CALL TO SALE THEIR SERVICE AND ASKING FOR SECURITY DEPOSIT $39 AND SAYING THAT WHEN YOU CANCLE THE SERVICE YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK. WHEN YOU CALL THEM TO CANCLE THE SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICES TELLS YOU THAT, THAT WAS AN ACTIVATION FEE AND CANNOT BE REFUNDED.
ALSO CHECK YOUR BILL FOR EVERY CALL YOU MAKE. THEY ADD MINUTES TO YOUR ACTUAL USED MINUTES.
WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PEOPLE ARE OPENING SREADING THIS FRAUD.
PLEASE DO NOT, DO NOT GET INTO THIS SERVICE.
I HOPE THIS WILL SAVE SOME PEOPLE. I HAVE SOME FREINDS AND FAMILY WHICH USES THESE ALSO AT THE SAME TIME WHEN I STARTED.
ITS A BIG FRAUD.

Advance Security refund
I deposit CDN $39.40 as advance security for long distance calls. I am not satisfied with the services of this company and disconnected my connection in the month of April, 2008. Lots of time I requested for refund of security but nobody care about this. I write e-mails to the company but till date I didn't get my refund money.

fraudulent information
I receive a call from a guy from India claiming to represent Union Telecom and after convincing me that the plan has no commitment, contract and great rates like 1c a min. to India with .39 c connection fee or .4c a min with no connection fee but I have to make a refundable deposit of $39.50. Called to cancel plan 2 days later when work colleague warned me about such fraudulent companies but when I called the toll free no. I am directed to sales reps in South America claiming the deposit is non refundable and it is actually a contract fee. Now I am having to file a complaint with BBB of Miami, FL, and a dispute of charge with my credit card company. Worst thing is the direct phone contact of the so called supervisor in New York city is only giving me a private answering machine and that the box is full!

not getting deposit back
I received a call from union telecom in oct 31st 2008 saying very low call fee to call in India. But you will have to pay $39 USD and few change and that money is refundable upon canclation of the account with no question aked. Then they gave the access code to call in India and first free 300 min. After providing the cr card info and transaction completed i happen to have call from friend and i asked him to call Union telecom as they provides good rate to call India. He said it is fraud and company services is very bad. I call Union telecom and asked them to cancle the service and reqested the refund back today is March 31st 09. I have not yet received the refund back. Which they said i will receive within 72 hrs. Now they call me and trying to give $50 calling cards who knows if i would be able to talk for how many mintues.
Watch out folks this company is big fraud, have no what so ever ethic. Compnies like this is disgrace to our community. Which leads bad impression to our community in society.
Shame on you Union Telecom. Have some courtesy and give back the money.
