I have current account, NO 4082000001061 in HDFC bank, vasai. I regret to complaint you about the horrible attitude and services by your vasai branch.
Recently, I had issued a cheque in favour of “Godrej & boyce mfg.co.ltd" .there was a correction in date as informed by our client. Immediately we had approached your branch. on their demand we had issued the request letter to clear the cheque immediately on 10/1/08. They had assured to clear the cheque.
On 15th Jan., we had received a call from Godrej, informed about the cheque return, the charges of penalty been charged and the informed to carry the business on pay order in future.
When I had inquired about the same in your vasai branch, they had simply told that they cannot do anything with this, as the clearance will be done centrally.
If they had informed same at the beginning, we could have refused to deposit the cheque to our client. We had lost our image due to your bank services in the fast also.
Few months ago, we had requested the branch manager, Mr. Conrad D'souza regarding the information, in case of shortage of fund at the time of cheque clearance. I am shocked to hear answer from your BM. i.e. " you won't get such type of information .if you want you can close your account”
A month ago, our representative visited the vasai for depositing the cheque. The Branch Manager Mr. CONCOR d'SOUZA standing adjacent to our Representative asked him loudly “Why dint you close your account till date?
I would like to question you only one question “are we the terrorist?”
Anyway I am waiting for this financial year end and I will definitely full fill your BRANCH MANAGERS desire to close our account.
