I received several phone calls which I did not answer as I did not recognize the phone number (888-346-6878). One voicemail was left for me from a gentleman with a foreign accent (Middle Eastern) and I could not understand a word he said. Later the same day, I received another phone call, which I answered, I did not understand the man and I hung up. He called me again yelled at me, asking me "Why did you hang up on me?" (I hung up because I did't know the phone #). He called yet again and I asked the gentleman to have someone call me who spoke clear English and I would be happy to speak to them. At that time, another man came on the phone and said his name was "ROBERT DAVIS" (he also had a Middle Eastern accent). He was not professional at all, spoke "mean" and loud to me, and stated that the recent loan I took (I had indeed taken a payday loan for a small amt) had not been paid and that I was scheduled for court and was being charged with fraud, theft, and something else I don't recall, and if I didn't pay them now, that would happen on the next Monday's day of business and I could be arrested. He wanted my SS#, bank account #, and a copy of my photo ID (and insisted I needed to fax one to him immediately to process my payment). I asked the man what loan company was he calling about? He said his company, UNITED CASH SERVICES had hundreds of loan companies for whom they do collections. He never answered my question with the name of my actual loan processor. Which made me more hesitant to speak to this man any longer. He then continued to harass and threaten me, and said if I paid now, they would need $400-$800 to clear up the situation. This amount was ridiculous as I had only borrowed $300! He tried to negotiate with me, but I refused to give any of my information until I checked with my loan company and on the internet to see if it was a scam. I checked and found many complaints here regarding this "company". PLEASE, , they need to be shut down.
