Not reliable
i received a call today from Untied Service indicating I won a nice trip to disney all I had to do was give my visa number and they would charge 194.00 per adult. I asked several times for the website so I could look the company up, she indicated no, not unless I gave my full VISA number. I quickly ended the conversation, called my VISA company and confimed that United Services was associated with my VISA company. The confirmed my believe, United Services is not associated with my TD VISA. The united service number given was 1-905-963-0620. Her name was Danielle. Operator number 2326.

Unauthorized bank withdrawal!
There has been a withdrawal from my banking account from unified services. I have no idea how it got my account number. There has been charges of 149.80 twice and it has caused me to have insufficient funds leading to charges of 30.41 each time.

Poor service!
July 2007 I registered my landline and cell phone number on the FTC do not call list. On 9/25/2007. I received a called from United Services. I asked them not to call my cell phone with telemarketing calls. I attempted to report it to FTC but they had no record of my previous registration. I have re-registered all my phone numbers at the Do Not Call registry site.
I apply for jobs online and place my home number and cell number on my contact information. This might be my problem!

Scam and cheating!
I do not know how I got into this trouble. I wish I have read these complaints first before I was sucked into their LIE! They said the same thing, 3 days and 2 nights and a $1000 shopping spree. I was hesitant but they said that I am not obligated and I can cancel anytime. They are pure evil! I was waiting for the catalog from the mail to come and when it did not come and my account was not charged the $1.95 for the shipping, I thought, thank God, they forgot about it. I had a hunch that it was a scam.
Lo and behold, 1 month later, I was $149.80 less "rich"! I was definitely surprised because I did not receive anything.
And looking back at the date of the complaints, I cannot believe that they are still at it! OMG!

Free promotional offers!
Just this morning (09/13/07), barely an hour ago, I was contacted by a man claiming to be from "United Services." He had a strong Indian accent and he said his name was "Gary Johnson." Now, that just raised my eyebrows, seeing as he had a pretty thick accent for a very English name. He informed me that I had just been selected to receive a $1,000.00 online shopping spree and a destination vacation for free! Now, I have just moved to this area and the only people who should have my info are my landlord and my phone and internet provider. He kept saying "congratulations," and "wonderful" anytime I answered a question. I never sounded enthusiastic about his call in the first place, which made him very repetitive and he sounded uneasy when I would ask a question. He said I would just have to verify some information. When we got to the checking account number, I told him basically (not in these exact words) that there was no way in hell he was getting my account number over the phone. He kept saying there was no need to worry, that I was only going to be charged $1.95 for shipping of my trial offers. Also that not one penny would be taken out without my verbal authorization and that I would be going through an automated verification system that would give me a conformation number. I asked him a few questions. He gave me his name, his identification number, and a customer service number (866-904-7796) by which to talk to someone to ease my anxiety over giving out my info. He could not tell me how it was he had gotten my information. He only repeated himself about five times that I had been selected to receive these promotional offers and all they needed was my "valuable feedback" of their services, which included long distance telephone, high speed internet, and dietary supplements. He would also say that the call was being recorded for his higher-ups but never offered me a chance to speak to one of them. After about 20 minutes of arguing with him that I was still not going to give out my info, I told him that he should stop talking or I was going to hang up. He hung up on me. I then called the number he had given me and it was an automated system that described their products. This number had no way to talk to anyone in person. I entered their company name in an internet search engine and got a whole bunch of scam alert websites with complaints. So, if Mr. Gary Johnson calls your home, do yourself a favor and hang up right away.

I'm a college student and they took $149.50 from my account!
I fell for the scam like everyone else. I was offered a $1000 shopping spree and this trial internet things and diet pills, and today I just found out that $149.50 was taken from my account. I'm 23 and a College Student, and my rent is due in a couple weeks, and what little money i had in my account-United Services wiped it free. I never said that they could take $149 from my account, and I don't appreciate them doing that. Not only that, my bank has now charged me an overdraft charge.
If there is any way of getting a refund from this company, please let me know. I want to warn people of companies and phone calls like this.
