I received a call from United Travel Network. It was difficult to understand the 'agent' but I did want to listen to see what company he was from. What threw me off was he kept saying that I signed up for this and 'won'. I cannot remember ever signing up for something, but he had a specific date...so I agreed to listen to the rest of his speech. His manager came on to give me the specifics of the so-called deal, but I knew already it was a scam.
He wouldn't confirm how long the presentation was or what I needed to do. All he kept saying was there was 'no obligation to buy'. I also didn't like that he kept confirming my marital and income status. I did a two second google search and came across others who expressed similar concern of the company and who had terrible experiences with United Travel Network. They kept offering the same prizes, the Lincoln Navigator, the cash, trip to Cancun or Orlandon, etc. Yet, wouldn't offer any real specifics.
These scams come along often, and usually I hang up within 5 seconds. this guy threw me off b/c he insisted that I had already signed up for it. Total Scam. i never did, neither did my husband.
Stay away, and don't waste the 10 minutes I did listening to their con.
