I signed two contracts with Universal Marketing Solutions for sale and rental of my timeshare. First contract was in Sept 08. Was told time share would be sould within 60 to 90 days. After signing contract never heard form them again. Each time I called I got the run around. Finally was told the person I originally signed with has left the company. New person was sorry and promised to get timeshare sold and rented. Never happened.

After a little digging, I found out that Jennifer Kirk and Matthew Hicks were running the timeshare sale scan. Apparently Matt Hicks has died sometime in Feb 09. Jennifer Kirk was arrested on 5/14/09 by Palm Beach Sherriff's Office and charged with Fraud-Swindle-Obtain Property 50K Dols or More. Organized Scheme to Defraud. This is public information that I forwarded to my credit card company. My visa card has already credited my account for one contract but I am still working with the other credit card company for the second contract. You don't have to pay money more to resolve this. Gather your information and call your credit card company and ask for the Bill Resolution Department. I consider myself lucky because the person who was working my contract at Universal Marketing Solutions called me and confessed the scan and even gave her name and address/phone to help me resolve these charges. She also states she was cheated out of her sales commisions. Not that they were legal, but she claims not to have know at the time it was a scam. It is rumored that Jennifer KIrk in now operating under the name of Creative Vacations Solutions. I cannot prove that, but that is what the former employee of Universal Marketing Solutions has told me and to not get hooked by them as well.
