I keep getting phone calls - threatening phone calls telling me I need to contact them back -- peterson adn adams -- stating that i OWE them something and I have no clue what it is. this needs to stop- they are harassing me

SCAM
IT IS 7:50 AM EST...JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL FROM MICHELLE LEWIS...ASKED ME IF I KNEW THERE WAS A LEGAL COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST ME...TOLD HER THIS WAS A SCAM CALL AND NOT TO CALL AGAIN...CALLED ME AT WORK...SHE STATED THAT SHE NEEDED MY ATTORNEY OF RECORD NAME AND NUMBER...TOLD HER I WAS NOT SUPPLYING HER WITH ANY INFORMATION AND TO TELL ME WHO ALLEGEDED FILED THE COMPLAINT...SHE WOULD NOT TELL ME...TOLD HER AGAIN NOT TO CALL...THAT I HAD REPORTED HER NUMBER TO THE FTC, FCC AND THE CA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THE NEXT WOULD BE THE FBI...SHE HUNG UP

SCAM
on sat jan 29 @ 9:1o am received voice message from a Michelle Lewis telling me or my attorney to contact herconcerning an extremely time sensitive matter. If I or my attorney did not return her call then she wished me good luch as the situtation unfolds ...then good luck and good bye...funny thing about ths is I have a private unlisted home phone number...do not know how she obtained it...this is not the first call I hav received of this type...usually called at work with threats of arrest, etc for committing internet fraud...claim to be from a lawyer's office...if they are really from a law office they know they cannot make threats of any type...also, be sure you request the "alleged" documents be mailed to you..but don't give them your addresss...that is what I did 2 weeks ago when I received a call at my place of employment...have not received anything and no call back...same person tried same scam at Christmas time.

Stupid People
Ok, I work for the modification dept of a large lender and I don't know who half of the customers are that I call daily, but do not complain to me that your acct is in foreclosure because you didn't make your payments. Why on earth would you not make a payment on your mortgage even if someone says not to? I understand you are going through a modification but seriously, if someone says don't make a payment why would you listen? And don't bitch when I ask you nicely to speak w/me I am usually calling for a reason and it is not often that I do call w/no reason to. We either are contacting you to make sure you send in the required docs (and if you've sent it in 3 times, too bad, you didn't sign and date it w/your loan number or you missed a box on a GOVERNMENT document) or to make a payment on the trial agreement that you have been set up with. And don't blame anyone but yourself when you don't make a payment on YOUR HOUSE. Yes I understand there are unavoidable situations like job loss or a divorce or a death in the family but dammit people, get your shit together and don't you dare scream at me like its my fault because I didn't do a damn thing to you. And if you really don't want to talk to a rep do not answer your phone, we'll leave you a message and you can call back when you have time, thats fine and dandy with me, just means one less bitchy person I have to hear yelling at me. Oh, and the verification process is FOR YOUR SECURITY, yes I understand it takes 3 mins of time to verify your information but don't bitch and groan and when I have to state my mini miranda dont bitch about me saying the word debt because even if your account is current, you still owe money on your house so technically you do have a debt, DUH! So there, I said my peace I feel better now. And btw I sleep just fine at night.
