coffee shipped back
I purchased coffee from urban coffeedirect.com I thought I was ordering it from Seattles Best Coffee I was supposed to be a $5. one time charge and I would be able to cancel I was charged $39.70 twice on my credit card even thou I had canceled it on 9/22/09 anbd 9/28/09 I had hardly received more coffee and I returned this two shippements to the company in Oct and still no credit what can I do next I have made 3 phone calls to them and only an answering machine answers and they never call back.

Later that month sept. 09 I canceled the auto membership due to the quality of the coffee.
On 10-29-09 another company - urban coffee charged my bank account for $38.90 causing me to bounce a check $35 fee from bank.
I called this company 866-794-2030 regarding unauthorized charge. Cust serv. Mike Akman told me they already knew the second ship was an error. He told me not to return the box as they had to pay the fee for that but rather to throw out or give away the coffee and they already started processing my refund.A couple weeks later I had no refund and called again - I was told 5 to 7 days I would have it.
My bank told me today there is no refund from them.
I have tried calling that number since last Wednesday and all I get is a recording then the call disconnects.
They took my money unauthroized and have basically disappeared.
What can you do?
Think maybe one thing is to remove them from your site.

liars, misleading theifs
Back in APRIL 2009 I started playing games on face book. Can't remember where or what but I needed some more "points" so I found this Urban Coffee Direct offer, TOTALLY misleading. It says 5.00 for this little gift thing, it ends up they sent me 5 things in the mail and charged me 25.00 on my credit card. Not right! But then the next day got a big huge shipment of more coffee and this time they charged my credit card 38.95--returned it and asked for credit that day. IN APRIL! They tell me no problem, and that ANOTHER SHIPMENT WAS ON IT'S WAY. I refused that shipment and they charged me another 38.95! I have called them no less than 8 times, have had rude people talk to me, nice people... but the same lie---we will credit your account in 72 hours! I learned my lesson to not trust ANY vender on face book, for some reason I thought they would have to be on the up and up to be able to be on there. I clearly was wrong. Thing is, I will call these people till the cows come home----------- been charged over 100.00 for what was said was a 5.00 offer! AND DON'T HAVE THE COFFEE!

overcharging
i ordred a 5 dollar trial and the company...urban coffee direct charged me 25 dollars then charged me another 39 dollars for something else...this is not what was advertised...there was no readable terms and conditions...this is a scam!!!

Witholding refund
I thought I was getting a bargain with their advertisement of 5 for $5.00 on their introductory package. However they charged me $25.00 on April 30th, and a few days later charged my account $38.95 for coffee I didn't order. I promptly returned the packages and asked for them to debit my account. May, June, and now July and no refund yet! I called at least three times, with them saying I would be getting a refund, ( now at the second billing cycle) since June 10th or so. It's appalling that any company can use our money like that!

overcharge
The company was to charge me $25.00 for a new customer order. Than it was to be $38.95 twice a month. First order was place on May 29, 2009 they charge my card $25.00 and $38.95. Than on June 1, 2009 two more charges of $38.95 and $38.95. They did not ship the orders just charged the account. I called and canceled on the 1st when I saw the first mistake instead of canceling they charged me twice more. Companies like this is why other are going out of business because of fraudlant business practices. Beware of this company.
