After leasing a Dodge Ram truck for 5 years and making all required payments, I contacted US Leasing to return my truck. They had a vehicle inspection person come look at my truck and are now trying to collect $500 in excessive damage fees and a $390 fee for end of lease turn in. The damages they are charging me for are minor dents on the bumper where the hitch is...normal wear for a pick up truck that was designed for towing. I was also told by the dealership that the turn in fee was never charged when the economy was good. This is just the leasing companies method of making up for the value of the truck going down way more than they expected due to the economy. I have offered to buy the truck but they want more than I could buy the same vehicle for on a dealer lot. My point is..never lease a vehicle from US Leasing..they care nothing about the consumer.
