It is my unfortunate displeasure to have an auto loan with U.S. Bank. Actually the loan is not in my name. My mother bought a new car for my wife and I an gave it to us, we pay the loan on the car. U.S. Bank regularly receives our check, or electronic transaction from our bank (incidentally NOT U.S. Bank) and calmly sits on it and does nothing until the payment is past due. They then call my mother (who is in her 70's) and act all threatening with her, harassing her on the phone, threatening to sharply reduce her credit score, and repeatedly calling daily (normally past 9PM local time). Then after screwing around they will cash our check and start the whole process over again the next month. When we call to talk to them the representatives become quite rude. That's fine I will be verbally abusive with the best of them. They will not even allow you to speak to a manager.
U.S. Bank likes to harass its customers, they are completely unhelpful. Actually to the above situation they told me that I should open an account with U.S. Bank and set up auto payment. As I live in TX where thank GOD to my knowledge I have yet to see a friggin U.S. Bank, they have told me I could use my bank, Chase, and set up auto pay. I refuse to do this as U.S. Bank has shown on more occasions that they will go into an account and take money, I will not authorize them to have direct access.
When I sell this car and pay off that loan, good bye U.S. Bank. Break out the Champaign and celebrate! What a novel idea, piss off all your customers so that no one will want to do business with you.
