Someone called my house today and left a voice maessage stating that they are suing me for a loan that I trook out that I did not pay back. I called the number back, 562-314-4852, and reached a Anna Marchel, who stated that I needed to contact my attorney about this matter. I told them that my spouse is an atterney and that we had not taken out any loans nor have we received any legal documentation about any pending cases against us. She then ended the call. I called back several times and the phone would go to a busy signal after ringing a few times. When my spouse finally got someone on the line, the individual, who did not want ot give his name, called my spouse an liar and ended the call. We have not bee able to reach anyone else about this. After calling at least 12 times, we finally reached a voice message that stated that we had reached the office of American Legal. the voice on the message was the same voice of the individual my spouse spoke with. The individuals we spoke with had a Middle Eastern accent.
