I have been contacted repeatedly today, October 6, 2010, first by Jeff, second by Kevin Matthews, and third by an individual that would not give his name. Each time I was told that I had taken a loan in the amount of $300.00 in February 2010, and refused to pay within the agreed 21 day period. Each individual insisted that the funds were directly deposited into my checking account. When I asked for documentation they refused. I asked for specific dates, they refused. I ask if they would fax the documents to me, they stated that they are not obligated to fax any paperwork. They continued that if I refused to pay immediately they would 1) contact my employer to inform them I did not pay a debt, and 2) take me to court immediately. Each individual insisted that warning had been emailed to my email address. Moreover, they continue to call my office, threatening that I better pay or they are going to take the money from my account or sue me.
While I did accept a payday loan from a company called Zip19, due to family illness, I do not recall ever accepting any money from U.S. Cash Advance. Moreover, I had not taken any payday loans prior to May 2010. To date, I have repaid my cash advance loans as required.
These people keep calling, making threats, and refuse to supply any physical evidence of this loan.
