Purchased the Obama Coin collection along with the Obama Inaugural coin Set back in December, 2008 with a projected shipping date after January 20, 2009 and with initial purchase the coins would not be charged until after shipping. I received a letter shortly after the 20th that due to high demand the shipping of the coin set would be delayed by a few days, once again coins would not be charged until after shipping. In my January bank statement, I noticed that the company had drawn the entire $129. from my checking account for the collections I had bought, contrary to what had been advertized. Upon calling, the agent stated that since I paid with a quick check, and since the Obama Coin collection had been forwarded, then the entire amount had been drawn. Shortly afterwards on January 30, 2009, I received an email stating that the coin collections had been shipped and shipment could be expected in 5-7 working days. 5-7 working days went by and I called to inform them that I had not received shipment, to which I was informed that shipment had been made and could take up to 2 wks. Well, 2 wks went by, still no information on the tracking number provided in the email and after another telephone call, I was informed that delivery could take anywhere from 5-7 weeks. My arguement was that I was charged $30 shipping cost by UPS and it doesn't take 5-6 wks to deliver at that cost. I was informed that I needed to wait another week for it had been shipped or else I could call back. Well, here it's been 5 weeks and still nothing. Now the tracking number shows that no such number exists. The company is sending out emails with more Obama offers and yet it doesn't make good on the initial sale. They have collected their money. Is it a scam?
