This e-mail is a follow-up to my complaint against Best Buy General Manager of store #274, Ms. Tina Clark (store #274). Ms. Clark refused to accept a legitimate personal check from my spouse, even when shown valid U.S. identification, my spouse wrote to purchase 2 electronic items. Ms. Clark's excuse was that she could not verify the telephone number of the bank PRINTED on the check. When I requested that Ms. Clark put this in writing that she would not accept the check, and the reasons why, she stated "I am not putting anything in writing".
As stated in my initial telephone call to BestBuy customer relations, I request verification that Ms. Clark has received additional training to ensure that future customers are not inconvenienced as a result of Ms. Clark's limited understanding of BestBuy's check acceptance policies. If not, I will return the purchases completed with my American Express card, and detail my experience with BestBuy in the U.S. State Department GLOBAL electronic bulletin board. Thank you.
