They like to scam people out of money and its not right
I signed up for the warranty because I thought it was a good deal. I was lead into believing that I was covered the moment I gave them my credit card. Even the papers I received said my current coverage included parts and labor paid for covered repairs, rental car benefits, 24-hr emergency road service, and 24-hr towing flat tire assistance, lockout services and nationwide protection. Also it tells me that including in the papers they have sent I will have a copy if my warranty, finance agreement (if applicable) and a brochure detailing the benefits of use of my warranty. About 30 days after I purchased the warranty, my transmission started to act up. So I followed the instructions on beginning the repair. Two days later after I dropped the truck I get a call telling me the warranty didn't go into effect until 60 days OR 1500 miles. I went on to tell them I have gone 3000 miles so that wouldn't be a problem. But it was, my wife called US Fidelis and asked what the problem was. They began to tell her the same thing 60 days OR 1500 miles. She told them the same that my husband has gone 3000 and they told her that it was 60 days AND 1500 mile. She then began to ask why they mislead my husband and that wasn't right. He was told he was covered that day! She began to get rude with her telling her that no warranty place would do that. They can not physically come and look at the car and they do this to make sure there were no pre existing problems with the vehicle. Also they tried to tell me they sent out a contract explaining this procedure. In all the the papers I have not one tells me this. They tried to send it out to me. But what was the point if there was this so called explanation on how it worked I should've been told about it when I purchased the warranty and it should have been included in the packet I received. I cancelled the service. I did what they asked and sent the contract notarized with my signature with cancel on it and the miles. A few weeks go by and they took the payment out of the back account!! Not only did they take the payment but they took more than they should have so they could get the payment through the account. I called them asking what they were doing, they said they never received the letter and they were going with the original agreement. I told them I sent the cancellation letter that they asked for and they said they have not received it. BULL, I asked her what I was supposed to do now because I sent the only copy of the payment agreement to them. She said just to write it out on paper. I called this past week to see if they received the new letter. They said they received it July 3rd and it has been sent to there warranty department for review. And that there's a 6-8 wk turn around!!! I also asked what they were refunding and she wasn't sure if it would be all of it or part of it. They were never authorized to take any money for payment out of my account after I canceled it even before I sent the letter. I feel we were very misled in this whole situation. I highly doubt I will be getting a full refund form the company. They like to scam people out of money and its not right. They have no problem with taking your money, but when there in the wrong they wont refund what there suppose to.

Refusal to pay a bill
I called them and ask them to reimburse me for work that i had done, and the refused my claim, they had more excuses then i have got patience. I was told it was a covered job, but because the company that did the work did not call them, and i went and had the repair done myself they said i was not eligible for a reimbursment. I have never seen a company that will not pay there responiblilites to their costomers, even other insurance companies reimburse you for charges that you pay for out of your own pocket . I hope you are able to shut this sham outfit down and get me back my money that i paid for this coverage. How do i join the class action suit against this sham outfit. I want justice, I would at least like for them to live up to their contracts to the people who purchased these plans.

Auto Warranty
I purchased a US Fidelis warranty in August of 2009 thinking that it would give me piece of mind. I first tried using this warranty in September of 2010 for a repair. Needless to say the repair was not covered by the warranty. My warranty is paid in full and when I asked about getting a refund I was told that they do not give refunds. I paid roughly $2, 200 for a 100, 000 mile warranty with a zero deductible and feel that I have basically been ripped off. Every other warrantycompany that I have had gives a refund if you do not use the warranty. Stay away from US Fidelis. They are a shady company and I doubt they will be in business for very much longer.

Auto repair insurance scam
US Fidelis, the biggest scam going. I could have avoided this by checking into the company better.
If I knew that the owner was a felon I would not have signed up.
After paying $1500.00 my car developed an engine problem. US Fidelis then requested a copy of all my maintenance records for almost two years. After sending this information to them there was no response. I then contacted them and of course was told that they didn't receive anything.
I sent them again and once again no response. I contacted them again and was now told that I had to bring the car to a shop, have the engine taken apart and diagnosed. Then they would decide if they would cover it or not.
These people are con artists.
Avoid them.

Complete waste of my money
What a SCAM! Complete waste of my money. The water pump went out and I had to show ORIGINAL receipts for all my old changes for 2 years. The garage that I go to, to have the water pump and oil changed offered to send them copies of all my oil changes and they said it wouldn’t work. They actually expected me to have copies of all those ORIGINAL receipts with me in my wallet so that I can fax them over. Keep in mind I dropped the car off earlier in the day and I’m at work. I only had 2 payments left and I canceled it. They actually said to me, “you only have 2 payments left, are you sure you want to cancel?” My response, “Why in the hell would I pay you $90 a month for 2 more months? You won’t even cover a f**king windshield wiper.” GOD I’M SO F***ING MAD AT MYSELF FOR FALLING FOR THIS SCAM!!! They spend 30 minutes on the phone with you talking about all the wonderful things they cover, you’d think they could spend 2 seconds telling you to please make sure you keep all the ORIGINAL receipts in case something breaks.

US Fidelis is a legal scam
I finaly have finished dealings with US Fidels and feel they are the closest thing you can get legaly to a scam. After talking to Tier 1, Mepco, and US. Fidels today all spanning over 2 hours i have realized that there is no way i am going to get my money back. I called in 33 days after i started my policy, as soon as i could becuase it took 10 days for the letter to get to me from them and i was in the field for training for the next 21 days when it did actualy come, and they told me that because it wasnt with in 30 days the policy can't be cancelled by a simple call. To cancel it then took paying for notorization, a bunch of paperwork and 4-6 weeks of processing on there end, none of which was told to me when i purchased the policy. Of course that whole time it took for this to happn i was being charged for "coverage" even though i called in and told them to stop the clock so to speak and not charge me because i didn't want the policy. Not to mention the reason i no longer wanted the coverage is becuase it is potrayed as covering a lot more than it does, it only covers specific parts in each section that is advertised as covered and those parts are not the parts that break, the comonly breaking parts (eg. sunroof window is not considered a wndow, and the actual 4 windows only cover the motor not the accuators which is what normaly breaks) are not listed in the fine print. Take all of that and the price tag of over $3, 000 for a 10 year old buick with 65, 000 miles and rude and imposible to reach customer service and you got a leagal scam. I would not advise going with them because the chance of something covered by the policy breaking and the price being more than that of the policy is highly unlikly. Your vehicle whould probobly require 5-8 visits to a mechanic for covered parts for the policy to be worth it.
