Car Bumper to Bumper warranty
June 2009, I spoke to Jeremiah Trout, about becoming a member of US Fidelis. I wasn't sure at first, but we talked at length about factory warranties and that they only covered lubricated parts. Jeremiah assured me that signing on for a Primer package it would cover my car bumper to bumper, the only catch was that I could not use it for 60 days. So I waited making my payments faithly and now it is mid January 2010, my car started acting up, I called US Fidelis and asked if it was okay to use the warranty now, I was told yes, I( could go to any shop of my choosing, just have the maintains person call the claims number and let them know what was wrong in order to secure payment., because Fidelis pays with a corporative credit card. So I took the car to the dealer they did the inspections, and called Fidelis as Fidelis requirement, so the maintains person did what was required and was promptly told all work was declined telling them that it was all normal wear and tear that Fidelis refused to pay for. So I went back and found my paper work that I received from them in the mail, it was filled with thing that was not covered even though it was bumper to bumper warranty. Had I not been miss lead and lied to I would have never signed on with US Fidelis. The only way to can get any thing from them is to go to arbitration with them in Chicago, Ill. So I will try one more time by calling the claims department myself and if that fails I will be seeking a lawyer and filing a law suit against US Fidelis and all known associates (ie MEDCO). For violation of their own contract.

Car Warranty
My warranty with Fedelis was a one use deal. I had transmission trouble and they only covered $1700. My bill was $2162. plus $895. in hotels, days off from work and differnce in bill. I was told that based on my year of vechicle and my milage. That they only pay Fair Market Value of vehicle. Now I have no coverage left.

Fraud
Us Fidelis sold a policy to me in nov 08 for my 2005 lincoln navigator. Last week 9-23-09 I needed to use the policy. I went to the local lincoln dealership and they laughed at me standing there with the policy in hand. They (lincoln dealership) said they would not even take my truck in if I was planning to submitt a claim as it would be turned down. So, I take it to another dealership ( one of my local ford dealership's) and they state the exact same thing .They also tell me that us fidelis is a scam! I then call US fidelis and speak to a coustomer service rep that acts as if this is the first time he has ever heard of such an issue. He then directs me to go to another dealership. I take it to Another ford dealership. They tell me they have never had us fidelis honor a claim. I then make another call to us fidelis and they insure me that they will honor my policy and to leave it with the dealership. Well it turns out my fuel rail presure sensor is bad and us fidelis turns down the claim. I find this out only to call us fidelis to hear a service rep tell me that is the only thing not covered in my policy for my fuel system. As per my policy the entire fuel system is covered. What makes it even better is the fact that my policy states the when my vechicle breaks down that a rental is part of my policy and they will pay 35$ a day up to and including 7 days. They turned this down as well. This whole ordeal has been a total dightmare that ended up costing me just about 400$ . I am currently trying to get a full refund and have canceled my policy with these scamers.
DO NOT EVER BY A POLICY FROM US FIDELIS!!!

Fraud
This is the website for the St. Louis Post Dispatch which has numerous stories exposing US Fidelis and several other auto warranty/service contract companies. The following link goes to an interactive map which shows all the companies who sell these products. The pinpoints also link to articles at the Better Business Bureau as well as news about them on stltoday.com.

Be particularly cautious of US Fidelis. I used to work there; they are a SCAM!

Scam
They claim they replace engines on TV. my Car is needing a new engine and now they are claiming to only pay out what my vehicle is worth and that's only 1, 386 and then they will stop my contract on me. That's a rip off and scam and false advertisement. My Used engine is going to Cost me 3600 dollars which i don't have no where near that much. They ripped me off. They lie on TV about what they cover. They are ending my contract because i'm using them to help replace my engine which is big time scam and rip off

Fear Factor
The work environment at US Fidelis is very strange. They front a christian based setting; yet the way the entire business is ran breaks or bends to almost breaking point–morally right, ethically right behavior.

The sense of urgency to “get the money” and push customers beyond normal sales practices is quite disturbing. From the top, the management is told to manage by instilling fear. The employee fears losing their job if they do not put the fear in the customers. In my 30 years of being in the workforce I had never experienced anything like it before in my life. Most of the people that are hired are young and naive to the business world. Should they ever seek work elsewhere, they will have a great adjustment in learning basic customer service as it should be.

Regarding sexual harrassment—there is no training or information to anyone on what is or is not appropriate. Anywhere I have ever worked where the company was that big; some sort of class or pamphlets were given out. US Fidelis does not care. MAKE THAT MONEY, is their motto. I worked there for 18 months and not once was there even a fire drill, tornado drill, or a class on how to handle threatening calls. The only classes were on how to sell; how to get the money. These classes were held for ALL employees whether you were in sales or not.

US Fidelis is unethical, morally deprived and hopefully within a short time our law enforcement will prove that they are in fact an illegal operation.

Rip Off
Today I received my warranty information. Along with the envelope were two bottles of auto additive. One for transmission and the other for oil/engine, After reading the information I was shocked to read unless I sent the card back verifying I put this gunk in my car, I couldn't use the warranty. THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED TO ME. I was skeptical when I first bought the warranty over the phone. The salesperson didn't emphasis the part about the probation. I had to drive the car 1500 mile and wait 60 days before the car warranty would take effect. When I asked what happened if I didn't drive the car 1500 miles in 6 months? It doesn't matter, I still had to pay the monthly fee and regard less if I drove 800 miles they wouldn't pay for it. Oh, by the way, they gave me a military discount of $300 when I told them I was retired from the Navy.
So today at 5:44 I called cust serv and spoke to Robin, she tried to convince me I needed the additive and when I told her I didn't want to get into a long drawn out back and forth discussion, she became terse. I told her I just wanted my money back. She attempted to tell me that they looked at my account and was going to offer me a lower price, I shut her down and said I knew you were going to say that. Just give me my money back. She left the line for about a minute and came back saying I would get a refund in 3-5 days.
Just wondering what to do about this additive I got, she didn't say anything about sending it back. Be careful, they are worse than a car dealer getting you to buy the warranty. They want you write stuff down and circle a price, all of the car dealer tricks. FAITH BASE, YEAH RIGHT> They pray to the almighty dollar.
