the company listed above plucked 69.37 out of my checking account for a supposed free grant book from usgrants.com. i filed a dispute with my bank and then tried to contact them to no avail. be aware of lengthy emails promising free grant money or services that are government oriented.

I tried to get financial assistance for my education through the internet, and I was directed to the above-mentioned site. I believed that I was filling out a request for a grant and I was informed that I would have to pay a one-time fee of 2.97. But instead of a grant request, I was actually being enrolled in there "exclusive club" and being charged 57.61 per month. Luckily I found out within a couple of days of the first 57.61 being taken out of my account and I called them immediately to cancel my enrollment, but it looks like I'm screwed out of the 57.61. Please help.

I paid and the website does not work nor does the phone number. There is also alot of other folks on there complaint list complaining about the same thing. They might be getting into bank accounts. They are taking money from innocent people. Not right at all. They are also using the word government which is wrong. Misleading. They need to be stopped.

I was charged $ 1.95 stating that I could sign up for a grant from the U.S Government. Instead I was billed $57.61 plus $1.95, a total of $59.56 and billed to by checking account. I am out of a job and now I have to pay a service charge for insufficient funds of $35.00 because of this this misrepresentation. When I called the toll free number, 866-978-9373 I was told that I will receive a credit but they would not disclose how much the credit would be. The e-mail address given to submit for my refund :" [email protected] " this is your e-mail address! The cancel number given is 3289012 . The representative indicated that I would receive a reply regarding the refund in 24 hours.
