False Advertising
What the company is basically is they give you websites to advertise the television satillite companies and try and get people to go through your websites and order through you! Now at the start of their pitch they give you a set price, and they tell you this sum is all you have to pay to get your business going! This turns out to be in the hundreds of dollars! After they have confirmed that you have paid this initial payment through Visa or Mastercard, and they know they have you, then they tell you you need additional sites through Google to advertise further, and without this your initial websites are useless, and will not bring in any money! So why didn't they tell you this in their first pitch! Because they knew with the larger sum, people would not venture to purchase this fiasco! This is blatant false advertising! So if you don't purchase the secondary sites through Google, you pay $20.00 dollars a month for nothing, no return for your initial purchase! I could not afford the second sites and am out all that money! How many other people have they scammed like this! The best way to see what I mean is to go through the process! Please help me out, I have been laid off for a year and cannot afford this! Thank you for your time and consideration, Bruce Perreault.

scammers & rude
I just got suckered into joining the US America Online Group. I got a phone call out of the blue and with having 2 kids running around I felt as though the salesperson was bombarding me and I gave in, but only after I told him that I could not afford the $99.99 USD setup fee, so he then lower the setup fee to $39.99 USD plus the $19.99 USD for my website hosting fee. <br />

Once off the phone I went searching online for more info to realize that I was just scammed out of $59.99 USD, but luckily I was able to read other peoples complaints about the same company and canceled before the 14 day return policy was up! <br />

Once I called them to cancel the account, I was put on hold to wait for a man (who didn't give his name) who was extremely rude and hung up on me when I said that I felt as though I was bombarded by the salesperson on the phone on the initial call. I told him I wanted to cancel immediately so I wouldn't be obligated to the 1 year contract with them. Once he realized that I was within my 14 day cancellation "right", he became rude and disconnected the call. So I had to then call the 1-800 number again to see if the account was indeed cancelled! <br />

My advice to anyone who may receive a call from these scammers is to hang up the phone and do not give into their requests!!!

Scammed
On 12/09/08, I too was scammed without realizing it. As it usually follows, I was contacted by phone by an agent asking me if I was interested in earning an extra income at a work from home internet based selling Direct TV/Dish Network Satellite Equipment. I was told for a monthly fee of $19.99 a month the company would do all the rest in setting up two different website pages selling the equipment to any customers who were interested, by my customer i.d. no.#30873. Of course, it all sounded so good at time when my finances are low and needed an extra income. So I had agreed to this company without looking into it a little further and to my disappointment I found the rip-off a little too late!
When I signed on and agreed to the amount of $59.98 a one time fee for signing up and was later told I would be billed for $19.99 a month for one year contract. I deeply regret not finding out about this sooner. I just wanted to let everyone else know out there to BEWARE! Before you become a victim of a scam.
Thank You Rip-Report ; Now I know what to do to try and get my money back and alert my bank company to be aware for future charges.
