I just wanted to voice my concern about the huge amount of SS fraud that the US social security system allows to go on yet does nothing. I went into their website the other day on Fraud and saw where they took the page down and there is no number to call anymore to report someone that you know is NOT DISABLED and is getting a huge SS check on your taxpayers money. I used to work with this woman at an office and ran into her the other day after over 6 years and now she is getting SS benefits and of course she is not 62 yet. She claimed how disabled she now is yet she can walk and can get around great. I have severe severe osteoarthritis and cannot walk hardly at all and cannot get around without a walker and my knees are out yet have been fighting it since late 2005 and was denied and told I would never get SS at all. I have an attorney yet he was for the SS system and did not do one thing for me here in Portland Oregon but side with SS. This girl I used to work with has a new car and drives and bowles and does all these things yet she tells me she is so disabled and can't do this and that. There is so much fraud here in Oregon and see so many capable people getting these huge checks and CAN WORK. She goes on and on with me about the importance of a LICENCED THERAPIST and you cannot get a LICENCED THERAPIST on a reduced price program which is a sliding scale. I have to do it that way because I am unemployed and cannot get work because Oregon has a 65% REAL unemployment rate in the call center and construction industries and is the highest in the nation right now. She knows she is committing fraud and am sure she is laughing thinking she will not get caught and lady YOU WILL GET CAUGHT eventually. They always do. You are not disabled and get around better than me and can do alot and do not understand how we used to work together in an office and now you say you cannot work. I have been fighting 5 years and still cannot get it and have severe severe depression and anxiety disorder and cannot walk by yet you can get around and can drive and do this and that and are getting a big check. I just do not get it at all. The real truth of the matter is that the entire SS system is nothing but fraud and abuse and the system is messed up for good and the people who do not need it need to be taken off of it. This person I know knows she does not need it yet she brags on how she cannot work and she used to work with me back in 2004 in an office. What a joke? I hope SS finds out about what you are doing and makes you pay back every cent plus interest because what you are doing is taking the money away from the real disabled people who really need it like me and cannot get it due to a cr0ooked attorney and not because I do not have a LICENCED THERAPIST.
