Fraud
On 2/28/08 Frank from US Vacations called me about listing my time share. To get me to sign up Frank had told me that I would get a $1, 900. rental check in the mail before my credit card bill was due. He promised me that he would sell my time share and that he had buyers just waiting.
I started getting the feeling something wasn't right, soon after I signed up. Phone calls were not returned, I did not get the check that was promised.
I have had 2 calls after signing up from Jim of US Vacations, both times he didn't realize I was already a customer. He told me a bunch of fraudulent information. He told me I could get $2, 100. for each of my rental weeks. He also told me that I could get $21, 400. for each one of my timeshares because of low financing and that I would get a check in about 4 weeks.
He told me that the only reason he didn't have them sold is because I didn't have them signed up with them. He told me that they had a big need for them and that they guarantee to sell them within 90 days.
Once I let him know that I did have them signed up with them, he got mad about me wasting his time. Anthony then came on and accused me of harassing them. I told him it was them that called me. Anthony said that they have the recordings of everything.
I also have the recordings of everything that was told to me. It is downright FRAUD!
It has been over a year now and I have not had any offers or heard anything from US Vacations.
If anyone knows what legal actions could be taken, please let me know.

Money stealing company
The only thing this company cares about it taking your money!!! The salesman made it sound like they had buyers ready and waiting...NOT TRUE! He said that he would help us get our money back from Timeshares Only...NOT TRUE! He said we could expect to sell it for a lot more than we paid for it...NOT TRUE! He said we should be receiving offers within a week or two...NOT TRUE! If you think used car salesmen stretch the truth, just wait until you talk to one of these guys.
After the contract was signed and our payment was received by US Vacations, we did not hear from them at all! Nothing in the mail, no phone calls---nothing! When we would call them, we would get the same old line of B.S. about how they have had a lot of inquiries and should be getting an offer soon. If you express your dissatisfaction with them, they are extremely rude and condescending.
Their contract is for their protection, not yours!!! It conveniently omits all of the promises made by the salesman.
I consider the fee I paid this company 'tuition at the school of hard knocks'. The only comfort I will find over this situation is in writing this report, and hopefully keeping someone else from falling victim to this dishonest company.
I have learned a lot about Timeshare resale companies since falling victim to US Vacations. My suggestion is to not enlist the services of any company that requests a fee upfront. Once they have your money they couldn't care less about selling your Timeshare. Another thing I have learned is that most Timeshares are worth 15%-35% of the developer new price on the resale market.
Probably the best advice I could give anyone when forced by a high pressure salesman to make quick decision is to just say NO and walk away. This will give you time to do some research and make an informed decision. If I would have developed this philosophy previously, I wouldn't have bought the Timeshare in the first place.

Terrible experience
We were contacted in October by Mark Andrews about selling our timeshare. He assured us that we had a very valuable property and that we would have no trouble selling it. He suggested we list the property at $26, 500. He said they sell because they are able to beat the price the resort sells them at. He said that we would NO TROUBLE selling.
We have not been contacted by them even ONE time! Everytime I call they have to take a message and someone will return my call, never happens, or they tell me that they have had lots of inquiries but no offers. It's the same 'story' everytime.
Yesterday I finally wised up and called Westgate. Properties the same as ours are selling for $12000 at the resort. NOT $26, 500!
This website does not come up on a google search and I have yet to see a catalog or any mailings that they advertise in.
This is a total ripoff and I will hire an attorney to get my listing fee back.
