I ordered a camcorder from "USAphotonation" because of their price. Shortly I received an e-mail requesting me to call an 800 number concerning my recent order. I was informed that the given price did not include the battery or docking station without which the camera would be worthless. When I asked for my order to be canceled because of the misunderstanding I was treated abruptly and rudely and was hung up on after his muttering that he would cancel the order.

I attempted to purchase a digital camera for a Christmas present, based on the low advertised price. I submitted my purchase on 12/12/06, and received an email to contact their Customer Service number about 2 days later. At that time, a person by the name of Jared tried to sell me additional items, which I refused. I was told that my order would be processed and to expect my camera shortly. I continued to monitor my order, and it was never fulfilled. Finally on 12/22, I attempted to cancel my order. The "customer service" people continually put me on hold, and tried to convince me not to cancel. It took over 1.5 hours of being hung up on, calling back, slapped on hold etc etc before my order was cancelled. I am convinced that this co. is nothing short of fraudulent. Do not trust this merchant!

I tried to order a camera because of the low advertised price. The next day I received an email and phone call allegeding problems with the card used. I called the person but they became very aggressive and tried to sell other stuff which I refused. I ended up canceling the order and the guy hung up on me. I tried to contact customer service but to no avail. They just want to sell you more and not worry about what type of customer service they provide. November 2006.
